Given that Elden Ring is such a massive, complex game, it is a given that it’ll be difficult for players to find every area and secret in their first playthrough. One of the optional areas in Elden Ring is the Bellum Church. It is located in Liurnia of the Lakes, and while it might not progress the main plot, it is home to a couple of great nearby items and one character’s questline. As mentioned earlier, Bellum Church is in Liurnia of the Lakes, within the northeastern portion of the map. There are two possible paths that gamers can use to get to the church. The first way is through the magical gate right outside the Academy of Raya Lucaria. However, fans will need to get the key to the gate, which the Glintstone Dragon Smarag guards. Gamers can either choose to defeat the dragon or quickly run in on Torrent, grab it off the dead body behind Smarag, and then run away. Once the key is grabbed, go through the magical south gate by Raya Lucaria, activate the site of grace, and then go through the other gate on the right-hand side. Finally, go down the main road outside the gate, and it will be on the left-hand side. For players that want to avoid the dragon, the other way to get to Bellum Church is through the watery ravine and climbing up the hill. Starting from “The Ravine,” site of grace adjacent to the church, head northeast through the water and past the poison land squirts. Eventually, there will be an opening uphill on the right-hand side; go up there. Keep going up the path, past the merchant, and there will be a stone archway on the left, leading to Bellum Church. Hyetta QuestlineInside the church is where players can continue Hyetta’s questline, only if they have previously given her three Shabriri “Grapes.” However, this time, she will ask for a Fingerprint Grape eye of someone the three fingers have touched. This can be found by defeating the “Festering Fingerprint Vyke” invader NPC at the nearby Church of Inhibition. The Church of Inhibition can be found heading east from the Lift of Dectus. Gamers will know they found the right spot when there is a massive tower with an Eye of Sauron-looking thing that inflicts Madness. Nearby SecretsOther than Hyetta’s questline, the last part of the Bellum Church Elden Ring walkthrough is that there is a Sacred Tear players can pick up to increase the potency of flasks. On top of that, a group of Cuckoo knights guarding valuable items along with a Night’s Calvalry enemy. Deal with and pass through the Frenzy-Flaming Tower, pass through the Frenzied Flame Village, and you'll eventually arrive at the Church of Inhibition.
