So, we were stuck in Atlanta airport with no good way to our final destination. Instead of waiting for 22 hours for the next available flight, or driving for 7 hours from Atlanta to Cincinnati, we had to fly into another city and drive to Cincinnati from there AT OUR OWN EXPENSE. It was a rebooking nightmare."

Pros: "The crew was amazing. We had a two hour delay on the ground due to thunderstorms, but the pilot kept us informed and the flight attendants answered any questions and helped with everything. The pilot even walked down the isle asking people if they had any questions."

Delta has a new policy that these tickets are not allowed to have certain privileges that tickets purchased on their own site have. Unbeknown to us, one of these is the ability to select your seat. On the ride from CVG to FLL we were assigned seats in the back of the plane, but at least we were next to each other. On the way back, we were not assigned a seat at all. We arrived to the airport almost 4 hours before the flight and were still not assigned a seat and were told we would have to speak to the gate agent. Even we when spoke to the gate agent, they still did not have a seat. It was not until we had already started the boarding process that they called us up and told us that we were going to be sitting 5 rows apart, both in a middle seat."

BA booked me on the flight but failed to change my ticket from the original flight causing me to miss the flight from Kansas City. At the airport BA agent told me on the phone that I would have to wait 3 more days after I had already waited 3 days because BA canceled my original flight. Because of the flight cancelation I missed two days of work and because of the failure to ticket my following flight I almost missed a full week of work. The BA booking person seemed content that there was no way I could make it to Saudi prior to the end of the week. Fortunately, the AA agent was able to find a way for me to continue my trip on a later flight."

They gave us a coupon for $20 buck to eat dinner at San Francisco airport upon arrival but of course no restaurant is open at 2:00 am."

Pros: "The crew was amazing. I was traveling alone with an infant and since the flight wasn't full, the ticketing agent moved seats around and gave me an entire row! It was so nice to have the extra space with all my things and to get up freely when needing to change my sons diaper. There was also a changing table in the bathroom which was much needed."

Cons: "I arrived at DAI at 6 am for a 7:35 AM flight today to CVG. The line probably had over 300 ppl in it! The Frontier staff kept telling everyone to get in line. What she should have been asking is where they were going, as not everyone needed to get in that terribly long line! After realizing I didn't need to be in the line, I got out, went to the kiosk (most of which were unused) , got my boarding pass and on I went to TSA. You need more staff, and staff who know how to manage the crowds to make this run more efficiently."

Pros: "I like that the pilots were careful of the storms around us. Flew around the worst. Approached the airport with the least turbulence. Our flight was 45 minutes late, but that was because the plane coming in was 45 min late. An airline can not control the weather, but I do appreciate knowing they take the safest precautions even if it costs more for fuel to fly around the storms. The plane was clean. The stewards were pleasant and smiled."

Cons: "I hate being nickeled and dimed. I think Frontier did make one change since my last flight. They gave someone a free glass of water - which I think was a good compromise. I don't mind being charged for drinks - even sodas - but water is too basic when poured into a glass. I did like if we had to pay for overhead luggage at least we boarded first to be able to store it. Although, being charged for a piece of overhead luggage to the point of adding $70 to the ticket for roundtrip - may remove Frontier from my idea of being a budget airline. Southwest with free luggage still looks good to me."

Pros: "Boarded quickly and on time/early, comfortable seats (3A, prepaid), no one sitting in the middle seat, plenty of space for carry-on and personal item (backpack). Direct flight from LAX to CVG (redeye) so the time went by fast. The price was amazingly low and actually dropped $5 between booking and buying my seat so they gave me the new even lower price. Unbelievable. Picked up my boarding pass at the airport, attendant was very friendly."

Cons: "Gate number was different from what was just printed on my boarding pass but I had read online that that happens so I was looking for it, no big deal since all budget gates in the same small area of the terminal."

Pros: "Frontier offers amazing rates on domestic flights. Their crew is friendly, boarding is efficient, and they make sure you are told about all extra fees up front. I appreciate the simplicity and think flying with Frontier is an exceptional value."

Cons: "As much as I like the price, traveling like a sardine in a can is never an especially pleasurable experience. The seats are thin, uncomfortable, and do not recline. The staff provides no free food or water (but if you want ice, they'll be a little accommodating). And entertainment? Forget about it."

Lack of cleanliness (old tissues & trash stuffed in the seat pocket, trash on the floor, looked like throw up in our aisle-our entire aisle asked to move seats) 5. Stewardess speakerphone so loud It was painful"

What a disgusting and dubious way to run a business. Worst experience ever. I have had and continue to have status with at least two of the large carriers, so I have flown a lot. Too bad no one else could provide the direct flight to Cincinnati."

Cons: "We were 5 minutes late to the airport due to heavy traffic on the initial flight, and they already had closed the gate. No one really wanted to help, and when they tried to re-book us for the next day, they flights were full. No real help from the airport crew. Another traveler who was there just when they closed the counter, also got turned away."
