Despite the terrible weather situation, the crew made sure that all passengers were safe before taking off. We were all thankful that Delta made sure to take all precautions to insure a safe flight. Even though the flight was delayed, we were able to still make our connection in Atlanta We're thankful for the effort that Delta and the crew made to get us in the air, but making sure that everything was safe. Being a GA private pilot myself, I know all of the procedures that must be followed in order to get that flight safely off the ground.

Cons: "To be clear, I do not have an issue with overweight people. That being said, I was put in an extremely uncomforatable position on this flight. My seatmate was a woman who easily weighed 400 pounds without the slightest exageration and was 5'7 at best. She carried all of her weight in her midsection and behind, which was truly uncomforatable for us both. As she attempted to squeeze into the aisle seat it became apparent that with the armrest down it was not going to happen. She raised the armrest and finally maneuvered into her seat and part of mine also. Not only was her bottom in my seat but her stomach was resting on my entire right leg. It felt like a toddler was sitting on my lap. This was beyond uncomfortable and embarrassing for us both as it was clear that she knew how intrusive this was and kept apologizing. My leg went to sleep after about 15 minutes so I asked to be let out. I approached the flight attendent and requested that my seat be changed to which she responded that the flight was full. I know it wasn't because I could see an empty seat about four rows in front of me. Finally I sat back down but every 15 minutes or so she would get uncomforatable and get up to stretch. The first time it was a welcomed break, until she came back and flopped in her seat with so much force that it felt like someone had ran and jumped in my lap. This occurred 4 or 5 times during the flight. I am not sure what the policy is for obese passengers, but it should be relooked. As a passenger I should not be put in a position to address another passengers weight. I also should not have to pay for a seat and only get to use 2/3 of it. Lastly, no one should ever be allowed to put their body parts on top of another persons lap and that be considered ok."

Flight delays and no wifi

Cons: "I noticed there was a disagreement/issue between a passenger and the aircrew, but it was handled quickly when the passenger just left. I understand there are some issues sometimes, but I noticed attitude from three of the flight attendants during the flight. There were three teens in the back that kept rambling about how all planes have bombs, everyone there was turbulence we could go into a spiral, the plane engines could blow up, etc. It was clearly making passengers uncomfortable because they kept turning around and one lady even yelled at them. I'm honestly shocked the flight crew never said anything to them. I wasn't too worried, except that they ruined any chance to get some rest."

The canceled flight was due to weather, but AA's response was to connect those of us stranded with a 3rd party vendor - Travelliance - with the promise of a SUBSTANTIAL discount for a hotel (SINCE THE NEXT FLIGHT I WAS GIVEN WAS 17 HOURS LATER!) - and there was, effectively, NO DISCOUNT. I have spent thousands and thousands of dollars with you over the years, but this was a bucker of water in the face. I'm sure I'll fly with you again, but any sort of good will I held for AA is gone."

Cons: "This made the check in process extremely frustrating and confusing. Traveling with my elderly dad who had to squeeze between two large men for 7 hours because people who actually booked the airline got priority seating. We had to pay an extra $500 to upgrade to comfortable seats. Not pleased w Kayak."

Cons: "No way to know who was up next, who was in line for what number - should have corraling stations (some airlines have this) where you gather based on your number and can move out of the way for others. Getting onto the plan was awful - the aisle are SO TINY - I'm 5'6" tall and 140 lbs, trying to roll a small back through the aisle, and it was impossible not to hit 14 people. It's like you have to go to class on how to walk through the aisle and not be an idiot."

Cons: "After arriving in Phoenix the connecting flight was delayed then cancelled. They put me up in a hotel and got me out the next morning. Other than missing a scheduled meeting. They were very helpful"

Water and soda are so cheap, it’s absurd. I’d never take Allegiant again if they weren’t basically the only airline operating out of my town’s small airport."

Pros: "Allegiant knows how to get people off and back on the plane ASAP. The last few flights I have taken we left early and arrived earlier than planned because of this. Crew was friendly. I like the fact the flights are direct and no layovers at airports."

Pros: "Boarding is always a pleasure out of Provo, with no security wait and a pleasant crew. The plane we took was a newer model, and is similar to many Fronteir and economy Delta planes. Unfortunately that means that even a short one-hour flight leaves pains."

Cons: "Our ride was very turbulent, whether that’s due to weather or pioloting I’m not sure. Either way it would have been wonderful to have a free cup of water. Sat for de-icing for about 20 minutes before takeoff."

Cons: "It was to uncomfortable to sit there in the plane for so long. I also noticed one of the flight attendants with the long brunette hair kept over looking me but would be in all the guys faces instead. Pretty sure it was a jelouse thing. The shorter brunette girl was really pleasant"

Cons: "Just the continual delays, but the mobile notices were so helpful in not coming to the airport for a delayed flight. As always, the fact that the seats don’t recline makes the trip more uncomfortable."

Cons: "Cheap plastic "mass transit train" style seats. Poor legroom. Borderline exorbitant fees for baggage and carry-on. Also weight on checked luggage was only 40lbs per piece while industry standard is 50lbs. Makes it difficult to share one suitcase between 2 people to save on baggage "fees"."

Cons: "parking my car 2 weeks in Asheville Long term was $96. I should have gone to Charlotte, parked at my friend's house and paid AA the same rate for a nicer seat and cabin leg room. a la carte pricing ran my bill up even with NO checked luggage. Asheville doesn't have a shuttle service for the long-term parking."

Pros: "Easy to book. Easy to check in. Inexpensive. Flight on time. No frills flight, which in my opinion was great. I have no complaints. Overall a great experience."

Cons: "Rental car I paid for on Allegiant website didn't include $50 in airport and sales taxes making it look like the Allegiant rentals were about the same as renting directly from rental car companies. Problem is that Allegiant didn't include taxes in the quote or amount I paid online. Surprise when I got to my destination and was told it would be $50 more. Alamo agent said I wasn't the first person to have that problem. Then on return my bag was damaged and was told I could place a claim at the ticket counter. It would have been helpful to have an agent there or a way to contact an agent. No such luck. After bag charges, poor service and hidden fees Allegiant isn't really a great deal."

Cons: "Was assigned a middle seat. I am a small woman and had absolutely no room."

Pros: "Both ways were good flights. The return flight however was delayed. We did enjoy buying some tickets from a lady named Valerie in Des Moines who also later had to come on the plane and remove an intoxicated woman. She made everything so easy and simple and enjoyable. And we especially enjoyed the treatment that we received as my husband is a veteran. Thank you so much for that."

Pros: "This flight was a return to airline travel in the 1980s in a good way! The plane was clean. The seats are among the most generous seats today. The best and brightest surprise was that each flight attendant was genuinely polite and welcoming."

Pros: "Cabin crew was very helpful and polite. One in particular expressed a great sense of humor throughout the flight and had a great rapport w/ passengers. Flight was on-time. Fare was $111 compared to around $375 to Orlando. I was able to fit this flight into my scheduled so saved the company $$."

Cons: "Can't blame Allegiant for a noisy child, but there was a child across the aisle from me who shrieked and talked loudly THE WHOLE FLIGHT. I was trying to sleep and was NOT pleased. I like a good fare, but selling a can of Coke on the flight for $2 seems a bit extreme. Glad there are cut-rate airlines out there as an option, but I won't be flying them any more than necessary."

Pros: "Very good flight crew. Cheerful. Nicely suggested a free adult beverage since we had the Allegiant credit card."

Pros: "It's really annoying to stand in line, get to the attendant and then be told to step aside and download an app for your phone and check in (and especially check bags) that way. I don' know the security or privacy of that app, plus it is just tedious and annoying."

Cons: "Seats on Allegiant are terrible, and charging to print out a boarding pass is awful. Charging for water on a flight where you have no other options for water should actually be illegal. Shame on them for that."

Pros: "The outbound leg went well except for the very uncomfortable seats that are thinly padded and do not recline. We left on time and arrived on time."

Cons: "The return trip left five hours late due to a faulty plane. I appreciate not using a plane that was mechanically not working. I also appreciate that we did finally leave on the same day we were to leave. The replacement plane was as uncomfortable as the plane used in the first leg of my round trip."

There was no entertianment on this short flight and I didn't buying any food or drinks so I have no rating for this section. To my surprized I was able to purchase Show tickets at a great discount on board only, very cool! Flight was on time both ways! Seat Confront was tight but the website made it clear the seating would be on selected seats and since I didnt pay for the upgraded seating you get what you pay for."

Cons: "The on-line section process was challenging to purchase tickets, not real user friendly had to keep going out of the site and back in again and then after payment was complete the baggage section was incorrect so it had to be fixed at baggage checkin, the baggage fees are cheaper on-line verses at the terminal but max weight was 40lbs the industry standard is 50lb. Didnt like having all the extra fees. All in all there was still a big saving as to going directly to SW Airlines"
