Call of Duty: Black Ops III's Campaign mode is set in the distant future where soldiers are fused with high-tech military weaponry. Call of Duty: World at War, Black Ops III's Campaign will support four-player co-op! The levels in the Campaign are a bit more open, allowing players to tackle objectives with a different strategy each time. Score and Levelsadvertisement The Campaign features a full leveling system similar to the Multiplayer. This system is both for single player and multiplayer. Earn score in each campaign to attain player levels and weapon levels. Each time a player level is earned, a Fabrication Kit is unlocked. Fabrication Kits are used to unlock weapons and cybercores. The XP earned in the campaign is altered based on the difficulty level.
More XP is earned by completing Accolades. Each mission has a set of challenges known as Accolades. Some are simple challenges, such as not dying throughout the mission. Other challenges get creative, such as killing an enemy with certain structures in the environment. Campaign Unlocks
Safehouseadvertisement After mission two, you will return to a Safehouse where you can view all Collectibles, reselect missions, change your wardrobe, and unlock items. Interact with the Armory to unlock weapons for the loadout used in missions. Interact with the Cyber Core Station to unlock special abilities for your player. Interact with the Combat Immersion station to play a horde mode against AI opponents. ArmoryLike the Multiplayer, weapons in the Campaign Armory must be unlocked by reaching a certain level and using a Fabrication Kit. Attachments are unlocked by reaching weapon levels, and camos are unlocked by earning a set amount of kills. In addition to weapons, Lethals, Tacticals, and Wildcards can be unlocked in the same fashion and added to each custom loadout. A new selection called Tactical Rig is added to loadouts in multiplayer. These can be unlocked and then upgraded with Fabrication Kits.
Cyber Core Stationadvertisement Cyber Cores are upgradable perks in the Campaign. There are seven perks under three different cores. Only one core can be until player rank 20. Combat ImmersionCombat Immersion is a survival game mode. The goal is to survive 16 waves of increasingly stronger enemies and kill them as quickly as possible. The simulator can be accessed from the “Combat Immersion” option as the Safehouse. All weapons, attachments, wildcards, and tactical rigs can be used when playing in Combat Immersion. They do not need to be unlocked like the rest of the campaign. Depending on your score you can get a bronze, silver or gold medal. A gold medal is awarded at 27,500 points. If you are a real game completionist you might also want to get the "Tried and True" decoration which is awarded at 35,000 points.
