How much do rams cost in Australia?

There is no denying that Aussies love their 4x4 utes, but the RAM series of heavy-duty pick-up trucks are another beast altogether. Whether it is the RAM 1500, 2500 or 3500, this series is all about a blend of brute force, tough ruggedness, and high-end luxury. That’s a rare combination, but it is also one that comes together flawlessly right here. This series has a distinctly different feel to any other 4x4 ute on the market, especially as you work your way up into the bigger units. There simply isn’t a like-for-like because the RAM pick-up trucks come into their own. As has always been the case, towing capacity is off the charts here, while payload capacity from the gargantuan tray makes light work of demanding tasks. The engines, including a 5.7-litre V6 and a 6.7-litre Cummins turbo-diesel engine are absolute fiends, and while far from frugal, the reason they are so good is because they don’t pull any punches. On bitumen, the RAM 1500, 2500 and 3500 are an enjoyable experience. Venture off-road and the fun doesn’t end there thanks to terrific low-range gearing and effortless 4x4 functionality. It adds to the overall functionality and practicality of the RAM series, something heightened by all those handy inclusions inside the sumptuous cabin. Step into a RAM pick-up truck for a unique experience.

Powertrain and economy

All of the new RAM 1500 pick-ups feature the same naturally aspirated 5.7-litre HEMI V8 petrol engine.

The range-topping 1500 DT Laramie variants are further bolstered by a 48V mild-hybrid system, which gives the pick-up added efficiency features like a start/stop function, short-term torque fill, and brake energy regeneration.

On the ADR combined-cycle, all variants return a fuel economy rating of 12.2L/100km.
