Share a video in a postShare a playlist in a postCreate a live stream postMention other channels in a postYou can mention other YouTube channels in your Community posts on a computer by entering @ followed immediately by the channel name. The channel may get a notification that you’ve mentioned them. Viewers can click the mention from any device and go directly to that channel page. Only use images that you have permission to use. You can also include text with your image post. Keep in mind that images must follow YouTube Community Guidelines. Video postsOn mobile devices, you can share videos directly in your Community tab. When you create a post that shares a video by another creator, a notification may be sent to the original uploader of the video. This notification helps creators acknowledge when other creators are sharing their videos. Note: Community posts about a video already in a viewer’s Subscription or Home feed might not show again. It will take up to 1 week to see the Community tab after passing 500 subscribers. The Community tab may also be available to other channels as we continue testing this feature.
Can anyone make a YouTube community post?If your account is eligible, you can make a Community post on YouTube and reach your viewers directly with media like GIFs, polls, and images. Only YouTube acccounts with at least 1,000 subscribers can create Community posts, and have access to the Community tab in general.
