This resource generally drops from the Orokin Void tileset and a few assassination targets. Void based radioactive resource that decays every day it is out of the Void. – in-game description Argon Crystal farming is unreliable, there are times when you go farming for 20 minutes and you don’t find single argon and there are times when you find 5-10 within a run of 5 minutes. The perfect squad for farming this resource in Void would be, a Speed Nova, a Pilfering Swarm Hydroid, a Desecrate Nekros and an Energy Vampire Trinity for unlimited energy and ulti spam. Keep in mind that the squad combo is best for running missions such as Survival and Defense. There are multiple ways by which you can increase your chances of getting argon to drop. Whatever worked for me might not work for you as it is all dependent on RNG. Whenever farming for a resource I recommend users to make a squad. The squad should consist of a Pilfering Hydroid and a Desecration Nekros. Along with that, run a resource booster and use Smeeta Kavat to boost your resource drop rate further. Method 1 – Best Place to Farm Argon Crystal – Head to Void Exterminate or Capture Missions and complete it, check around and make sure to break any Argon Deposits which will grant you multiple argon crystals. This is the fastest mission and doesn’t require a squad. Bringing a Warframe such as Nova or Ember, or any other that deals AOE damage will help you breaking containers behind closed doors, if you are running carrier with vacuum, you should be able to gather them automatically.  Method 2 – Void Survival and Defense Missions – Running a farming squad efficiently can net almost 30-50 argon crystals per hour. This was my best run when our squad had a desecrate Nekros, a pilfering hydroid. I was also using Smeeta Kavat and gather stuff only when Charm was triggered (guarantees double loot). Find a closed room with one opening in survival missions and keep killing and farming enemies, have one tanky guy run around to enable life support modules. Method 3 – Weekly Ayatan Sculpture Mission – The mission granted by Maroo is a good place to farm the crystals, only if the tileset is Void. There is no time limit if you don’t start the mission. Just run around and with a desecrate Nekros and Atterax and keep chopping your enemies. Nekros and a slash damage weapon will double the loot drop chances. How are Argon Crystals Decayed – Argon crystals will start decaying, the math behind this might be complicated for a few. Below is a screenshot explaining how it all happens: As mentioned earlier, the game is RNG based. I’ve read people not able to find anything even after running survival missions for over an hour. But then there are people like me who find these things easily by running a simple void exterminate mission.
