Our guide below will show you how to delete a Pokemon from Pokemon Home on your iPhone if you don’t need that Pokemon anymore, or if you need to free up some storage space.

The Pokemon Home app uses the term “Release” as opposed to “Delete.” However, it’s functionally the same thing, as you won’t be able to get a released Pokemon back.

This is expected to change of course, as Pokemon HOME will be given functionality in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in Spring 2023. Until then, trainers can still release their Pokemon, however, they will need to do it one at a time.

The good news is that once functionality is linked to Pokemon HOME, trainers will not have to dish out any funds to be able to mass-release their Pokemon. That is only a requirement if they wish to import their Pokemon from other games into the region of Paldea.

Until then, trainers will have to dial back the mass capturing – or just have to manually release their Pokemon one by one after a long capture session.
