The Gym Rat badge is an unlockable badge in which you will get +4 to your Speed, Acceleration, Vertical, Strength, and Stamina. It can be unlocked through the following methods:

On Current Gen: You will need to complete the Mamba Mentality quest first, but afterwards you will need to talk to the NPC in front of the Gatorade Facility. He will give you a quest.

The “Addicted to Sweat” quest requires you to complete 50 exercises in the gym. You can also win a championship for your MyCareer team while playing 50+ games and get the Gym Rat Badge.

On Next Gen: You will get a Quest to talk to the Gatorade Rep. This will unlock the mission to get the Gym Rat badge, which includes 25 3-star exercises. This should take at least 5 weeks to unlock.

Yeah I didn't get around to adding how to do it because I had to shorten my posting and leave my laptop. I wasn't trying to be cool. I was sharing a bit of my experience of My Player. You're absolutely right, I'm sure everyone on here could do as good or better than me on My Player. I was trying to share. As for how to simulate the playoff games, its just as the last poster said. When you are in the playoffs, go to Playoff Tree, press Y and a daily view of the games will be displayed. Go to the game you want to simulate and press start and the game will be simulated. Hope that clears everything up.

I know it seems like a silly question but I'm kind of afraid of going to the Championship with the Wizards as a rookie and I REALLY don't want to do that (I mean, what's the bloody point of winning the title in your first season).

I want to simulate the rest of the playoffs until we're eliminated but I can't seem to find the option (I never simulated during the regular season, which is how I got in the mess in the first place <_<).

Is it even possible or are they just presuming (accurately, in most cases) that nobody would want to skip that part?

*Updated Team Audio Files in all 92 roster files located in Part 12. Some of the improvements are things such as the commentary team not mentioning Brooklyn if you are playing with the New Jersey Nets, not referring to the Wizards if you are playing with the Bullets, not referring to the Utah Jazz if you're playing with the New Orleans Jazz, and other more correct references to teams (New York Nets in the 1970's, referring to the Chicago Stags as "Chicago" instead of "Chicago Bulls", and a lot of other similar types of minor adjustments that can make a difference when playing the game and immersing yourself. I also added audio ID for G-League teams if it was available. There are a lot of other nice surprises coming soon on the audio front.

*Accurate shoes for ALL players have been implemented in the 1994 Roster. A ton of work went into research and shoe creation by TrueFaith. Enjoy the impressive work! I've also rolled over these shoe assignments to the 1993, 1992, 1991, and 1990 rosters for the time being.
*Approximately 20 new shoes (courtesy TrueFaith) have been added to the new shoe vault system (305 in-game shoe vault and 46 in the offline shoe vault). There are now two vaults (an in-game vault and an offline vault so be sure to watch the youtube preview video posted above) I've also hex-edited real names onto all the shoes (so there won't be anymore blanks or nameless shoes). Big thanks to TrueFaith for contributing a majority of the pre-2000's retro shoe updates. Please go to 28:17 of the UBR V76 preview video to see the entire shoe vault!
*There have been approximately 200+ unique retro dornas added throughout all applicable season mods. Due to the tricks of hex editing I've ensured that there is no hanging at the starting lineups screen or crashes. This means that it won't be necessary to swap out dornas any longer based on the year you were playing (if you were doing that). Now, it's as simple as loading up the 2023 Roster and having all the current dornas (which will fit perfectly by the way) or loading up the 2019 Roster to have those year specific dornas, or the 2014 Roster to have those specific ones or 1999, or 1991 etc. I've also added the correct playoff logos to the dornas depending on the year. Some of these logos have also been added to the courts so they will appear on there during association. Here is a breakdown of more specifics regarding the dorna additions:

*Improved retro dornas from 1980-202022 to show a more accurate version of the playoff and finals banner if you were to make the playoffs/finals in association mode
*Made a bunch of dorna re-assignments from 1980-2022 to ensure better accuracy
*Updated the playoff and finals logo that appears on the floor of the court if you make it to the playoffs or finals in association mode using the 1980-2002 rosters (the courts must have been designed the old-school way that allows logos to show on the court)

Some are of players who were using coaching cyberfaces but we now have their player cyberfaces (Rod Thorn, Kevin Loughery, Al Attles). You will also find a career cyberface update pack for some players such as Kevin Johnson which I've pictured below to show you an example. Other players with updated career cyberface packages are Tracy McGrady, Alex English, Glen Rice, Charles Barkley, Campy Russell, and Karl Malone. There are also a few cyberfaces that are completely better than the defaults we were using (Craig Ehlo is an example). A lot of work went into assigning these cyberfaces and a ton more into creating them. Thank you Liug!

Note #1: Some NBA teams are a mess right now due to Covid. With the new "hardship" contracts some teams are up to like 22 or 23 players. I can only put a maximum of 19 players on teach team. Below are players who should be on the NBA roster but I'm unable to fit them. WHen some of these 10 day hardship contracts are over I will reassess and update. All of these players can be found in free agents:

Jerseys:

I noticed I accidentally replaced the Nike Swoosh Logo/Graphic that appears when you go to the preview screen to select jerseys with the Adidas Logo. I have since fixed this issue and improved upon a few more things. What I've been able to do is show a variety of different brand logos appearing on the select teams/jerseys menu (not just limited to one). I've been able to successfully re-add the Nike logo while keeping the Adidas logo as an option. I've also added the Jumpman Logo and a Miscellaneous "Champions/Starter/Reebok/Hardwood Classics" logo.

Additionally, I'm getting some help cleaning up the 2021 Jersey names so that they get the correct preview text underneath them to say the correct type of jersey. For example, if you select the City jersey it will say "City Edition" underneath. Or "Statement Edition" or "Christmas Edition" etc. This is some tedious work, but it will end up adding to the presentation of the mod. There is still work to be done in this area, but you will see some of these changes in effect in V59.

Starting Lineups & Minute Rotations: I'm finished going through the 2021 rosters and editing the Starting Lineups and Minute Rotations for accuracy through the first 10-15 games of the NBA season for all NBA teams. I've also edited all applicable "Roles" for accuracy. Additionally, I've made a few player rating adjustments for players who are having noticeably better or worse seasons so far (Christian Woods, Jerami Grant, Hassan Whiteside etc to name a few). If you would like these updates now feel free to re-download Part 12 as I've made a silent update to the roster files.

Draft Classes: Enzo has come through and beefed up the 2003 Draft class which was lacking some 2nd rounders. He has added ~15 more 2nd round prospects. Jimmy has also contributed his 1966 and 1967 Draft Classes!

Ultimate Legends Roster Upgrade: I've made a number of changes thanks to feedback from the patrons and have upgraded the UBR Ult Legends Roster to V8. I'm also transferring the player ratings from the Ultimate Fantasy Draft Roster to the Ultimate Legends Roster and then making some tweaks from there. Over the past year I've made a ton of excellent ratings and tendency updates to the Ultimate Fantasy Draft Roster so transferring those ratings over to the Legends Roster will be important for accuracy and consistency throughout the mods. PLEASE NOTE: THESE CHANGES HAVE NOT YET BEEN MADE ON THE ULTIMATE BASE ROSTER ALL-TIME ROSTERS YET - YOU WILL ONLY FIND THE CHANGES IN THE LEGENDS V8 ROSTER.

Improved Stability:

There was an issue that was causing the game to crash to desktop if you tried to edit/view some of the players on the All-Time Teams located in the Ultimate Base Roster. This same issue was causing crashing to the desktop if you tried to use a handful of the All-Time Teams in exhibition mode to try and play a game in the Ultimate Base Rosters. These issues are now resolved.

I've been touching up some parts of the retro rosters as some users said they were experiencing some crashing in association after multiple seasons. I believe I've found a big part of the issue and solved it, so please feel free to reach out if you experience any issues.

Major Overhaul & Improvements for Draft Classes:

I have gone through and touched up the POTENTIAL rating for players in all Draft Classes from 1968-2020. Additionally, if I made any significant file structure changes to any draft classes I bumped up the Version Number of the draft class to the next one. Enzo and Jimmy, fellow modders, has also been helping with this process and their help is greatly appreciated! I have gone through and personally made sure that every 1st round pick drafted since 1968 are included in the correct draft classes. Most draft classes have a majority (if not all) 2nd rounders as well. The 1970's rosters got major improvements as I removed a lot of double players that could be found in multiple drafts.

In addition to touching up the draft classes I've also cleaned up the presentation during the NBA Draft. Now, Adam Silver won't say any incorrect colleges. You also won't see any incorrect colleges when a player is selected. On the Mock Draft screen I've added "Prospects" to what is displayed. Overall this is going to improve the overall quality of conducting the drafts in the game. I also changed some trading screen prompts that were unique to trades done in the offseason to have them display in a similar fashion to how I have it during the regular season.

Lastly, if you were experiencing any crash-to-desktop issues with the Draft Classes those should now be solved as I've done some major re-assignments to help with these issues. I have also successfully started every Draft Class in an association through testing.

New Jerseys:
All of the "Earned Jerseys" created by OmelTV have been implemented and are ready to go for V58. We really appreciate OmelTV for allowing us to package his jerseys in the Ultimate Base Roster.

Shoes:
I was given permission by TGsogood to include his awesome Shoe Vault collection. There are a bunch of new shoes to be able to equip players with now which will be awesome! We will also be using Ree TwoKay's shoe folder as a base for consistency sake across our files.

Here is some shoe accuracy progress I've made so far:

*Assigned all players to wear White Converse Chuck Taylor shoes in all rosters from 1952-1969 except for the Boston Celtics. I've assigned the Boston Celtics the Black Converse Chuck Taylors. This includes the yearly roster, Ultimate Base Roster, and Champions Roster.
*Assigned all players to wear White Converse Chuck Taylor shoes in all Draft Classes from 1952-1979.
*Assigned Larry Bird his Black Converse Weapon shoes in all yearly, the Champions Roster, and the Ultimate Base Roster.
*Assigned Michael Jordan all of his correct shoes throughout the 1980's and 1990's in the yearly rosters, the Ultimate Base Roster, and the Champions Roster.
*I've begun to assign the Early 90's Bulls their realistic shoes in the Ultimate Base Roster and the Champions Roster

Main Screen:
With the guidance and tutelage of Ree TwoKay I've created a brand new Main Screen Home Screen for the Ultimate Base Roster. No longer will you see players spinning basketballs - which also is an eyesore when you load some of the earlier retro rosters!

•Pete, the UBR scheduling guy, has worked some magic on creating this year's unique 2021 schedule. He was only able to create the first half of the 2021 schedule (because that is all that has been released) but it works and looks excellent. The only issue right now is that if you decide to use this calendar option it will be a 41-game season and the following year in association would also be a 41-game season. For now, I know I will be including this realistic first-half 2021 schedule as an option to select and then there will also be a regular 82-game schedule option to select from. View how the options will look below and see a preview below:

•The Toronto Raptors have a brand new main logo (and I’ve tweaked some other logos to make them look a bit higher quality from previous versions). The new 2021 Raptors logo is slightly different than the logo that has been used in the past as the ball is now red-colored. The other Raptors logo will remain present in previous applicable years.

•Added updated current cyberface looks for many current players courtesy AD2K and Taco2K

•Permission has been given by modder Inkednextgen2k to include his 2021 Raptors and 2021 Hornets jerseys as well as the 2021 Nets Retro Classic edition jersey. Jumpman2K has also given permission to include his 2021 Hawks jerseys. Lauxx has also contributed his 2021 Lakers Retro Classic edition jersey.

•Jumpman2K's 2020 courts (including his 2021 Hornets court), PandaGraphic's core/primary 2021 courts, and Makoy's 2021 City Courts have all been added. All three modders have done a tremendous job and they look excellent in the game! I have made the City courts as selectable options at the play screen for anyone wanting to switch from a team's primary court to their city court for the 2021 Roster and the Ultimate Base Roster.

•Fixed in-game message prompts and VASTLY improved presentation text throughout the mod. First, message prompts will finally be formatted correctly so you can actually read them. Also, now if you start an association with a retro roster you will no longer be reminded in any way that the year is 2013-2014 (this has all been edited out and revised). Draft picks are now referred to as Current and Future picks. Teams will offer “Draft Compensation”. When you go to sign free-agents it no longer lists specific years such as 13-14 or 14-15 but will list them more ambiguously. The same can be said if you go to view your player’s contracts. I even removed the year that is usually put in the corner of the NBA Draft Splash screen. If you can find any leftover residue of somewhere in association where it mentions the date please e-mail me and I will try to remove it or figure out a work around for it.

•An excellent contribution by the man himself, Suirad, is back with revamped Slider Settings for different parts of each decade from the 1980's all the way up until present time. Load these slider settings when playing or watching games from different eras for more realistic game play and statistical outputs! These were silently uploaded into Part 12 later in the day. So if you downloaded V57 right when it was released I strongly encourage to re-download Part 12 to grab these awesome slider settings!

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:

After you click the "DOWNLOAD" button located below you will be brought to a webpage with 12 separate download parts. If you have already previously downloaded Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, and Part 8, Part 9, and Part 10 once already for the Ultimate Base Roster you won't have to download them again. If you're not sure if you have downloaded them previously then play it safe and download/install Part 1, Part 2, Part 3, Part 4, Part 5, Part 6, Part 7, Part 8, Part 9, and Part 10 (in sequential order) before moving to Part 11 and Part 12. Remember, after you download and install 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10 ONE time you never have to download them again (unless otherwise noted).

You will, however, need to download Part 11 and Part 12 every time there is a new update NO MATTER what.

After downloading each part make sure to read the "README.PDF" file located in the zip file if you need help installing.

You will need to place all of the contents from Parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 into your Main NBA2K Folder.

#4: 14 Games / 14 Games (Multi-Season)
This option is the original/untouched 14 game 2K schedule.  This option is recommended for users who just want to have a short/quick-play 14 game season.  It can be used for multiple years.

*NOTE: The information outlined above does not apply to non-UBR rosters. The 82, 58, 29, and 14 game schedules are still applicable to any non-UBR retro rosters. This means if you are using a current roster you have the ability to still play any length of season you would like.

• Real Arena Names: Real arena names for every arena that was given a fake name now has accurate names. For example "Seattle Arena" is now named "KeyArena" etc. I did this for my created retro teams, the retro teams that came with the game, AND the real NBA teams (ex: Madison Square Garden now shows up instead of “Knicks Arena”).

IMPORTANT NOTE #1: I highly recommend going to the rotations menu and reviewing the All-Time Franchise Team rotations before playing. Since all teams have 15-20 players it's important that you go and select which players you want on your 12 man team that will be eligible to play in your game. Remember some teams have as many as 8 IR spots because I gave these teams extended rosters.

IMPORTANT NOTE #2: You may notice that the Retro Team "OVERALLS" that show up at the Quick Play Screen are out of whack - just ignore it - it doesn't affect game play at all.

IMPORTANT NOTE #3: Because I've mirrored some players onto the All-Franchise Teams there is one negative consequence. When you go into the Rotations Menu I HIGHLY recommend that you don't scroll through the Specific Year Retro Teams as you will be constantly asked to "update this team's rotation minutes". The game play still works perfectly and substitutions are made correctly, however because some players are mirrored onto the All-Franchise teams the game gets confused and will constantly ask you to change their minute rotations. So a word of advice: Only scroll through the Current NBA Teams and/or the All-Time Franchise Teams when entering the rotation menu. You may use the All-Time Legends roster if you want JUST the all-time teams.
