Man that really sucks. I've been in your shoes but fortunately I got a break. About 5 or 6 years ago, I set up an incall with a well-known and well-reviewed local provider and went over to her place. She was set up in an rental development (think rows of duplexes) and her place was in an out of the way spot with a non-street-facing entrance. Got there, small talk for a little awhile, and then we headed upstairs to the bedroom.

In an instant, that mask melted away and I was looking into the terrified eyes of the real person behind it. The look she gave me was almost pleading, as if she thought I was one of the cops.

Seconds later, several plain-clothes cops, badges on chains around their necks, bust through the bedroom door with fucking guns drawn, I shit you not, yelling at us to get on the floor. One of them gets on top of me and cuffs my hands behind my back. I have never had such a sinking feeling in my stomach.

They get me to my feet, bring me downstairs, and sit me down at the dining room table with one of the detectives who uncuffs me, explains what's going down (as if I couldn't tell) and starts questioning me. I am the epitome of cooperation. Yea yea I should've kept my mouth shut but get yourself into a situation like that for the first time and see how you react.

Meanwhile, the other cops are with the provider with whom they seem quite acquainted. They're tsk-tsk'ing her for being stupid enough to operate in their jurisdiction again. One of them gets her laptop and cellphone and starts going through them. After some time they take her out.

Meanwhile, I'm still with the other detective and, as I said, answering all of his questions. After I give him everything he wants, he tells me that there's a chance I might get called to court to testify against her but it's almost a certainly that she'll just plead guilty and leave town for awhile with no need for a trial. Then he thanks for me for not being a pain in the ass, tells me to get dressed and fuck off. Not needing to be told twice, I was gone in two minutes.

I spent the next few months waiting for the other shoe to fucking drop because I know my luck and my luck does not let me get away with things like that. Nothing ever became of it though so I dodged one hell of a bullet.

Funny thing is, I kept running through those moments right before the cops busted in. How did they know to make their move at the exact right time to catch me literally with my pants down. I remember right before it went down, the provider looked out of the bedroom window and then kind of made a big show of pulling the curtains closed. That must have been how they knew. I almost feel like she was intentionally signaling them that the time was ripe, as if they were running a sting on johns. That couldn't have been true though else they wouldn't have let me walk and the provider was definitely not in on it or else she should win an oscar.
