Does anyone else wish there was a trade function? I haven't beaten any of the clash's for a chance at ambush whitebeard, let alone think I have a chance against him...not only that. But what I really want is the crimson skull for super evolve, I really wish there was just a trade function.

That would considerably diminish the need to pull for RRs and to farm content, therefore diminishing the need to use gems, and therefore diminishing the game's revenue. It's a nice feature for us players, but that would be a stupid move on Bandai's part.

GraveX1 (Topic Creator)5 years ago#3

Well honestly I was thinking it would more be limited to once a month, limited to one item/crew member, or maybe cost gems to initiate the trade. maybe all of the above

kole1000 5 years ago#4

Even if you can't trade, say, legends, and you could only trade once per month, it would still decrease a lot of players' need to pull, since they can just wait 1 month and get the unit they want for that X amount of gems, instead of endlessly pulling, hoping to get lucky and draw that one unit they need. I understand, though. I also sometimes wish I could just trade a unit I have for, like, SW Usopp or 3D2Y Robin, but what can you do?

GraveX1 (Topic Creator)5 years ago#5

Well not just X amount of gems, I mean the trade would cost gems to initiate with another player. Not to mention your giving something up...even if it's a friend and your willing to take a useless unit. Your giving up gems for a unit, maybe it means you don't need to pull but still. Or maybe make it every 2 months, I still think it would be a useful feature.

It would still negatively impact revenue. What players would do is hoard units that are worth trading, and then find a guy that needs them with the units that they themselves need. That would increase the value of dupes, decrease the value of selling those dupes to Ray's Bazaar, and decrease the need to pull. There are a lot of folks who could use this feature, as limited as it is, to complete their dream teams easily; there are a lot of folks (like me) who just pull to get specific units; and then there are a lot of folks who could outright swindle beginners out of their good units. I don't know, I wouldn't be in favour of this kind of feature.

Hecubusx22 5 years ago#7

you could reroll accounts forever and trade units you need to your main account. Would be really f***ing stupid.

GraveX1 (Topic Creator)5 years ago#8

Yeah, there's complications...my other theory would simply be to limit trades to evolvers, boosters, and items. Like I said I want a crimson skull be can't seem to get near the CHANCE; and there are times you need to evolve but don't have all the units, other times you want to level but it's difficult...I think that might be the best option really.

kole1000 5 years ago#9

Yeah, but the fact that you don't have one means that it's more likely that you'll expend gems to farm more and try and get it to drop. Spending gems increases the likelihood that you'll purchase more, or so goes the theory. And if you reduce the functionality of trading even more, it'll become virtually useless.

They'll sell the skull for an exorbitant price in Ray shop.

Also, WB F2P teams can farm YWB, so work towards that.

You can't make an omelette without crushing dozens of eggs beneath your steel boot and then publicly disemboweling the chickens that laid them as a warning.
