But I have been analyzing this for a while.  itsmemows I always considered a month old on the same date. I count by weeks until then so Monday my LO will be 4 weeks but he won't be a month old until May 8th. Most months have more than 4 weeks. Same as the pregnancy weeks / month debate. So baby 1 month when it’s a month from her birth (born 4/5 so tomorrow she is 1 month). lbarron914 It’s the same date. You don’t celebrate your birthday on different dates every year because you count 52 weeks so why would you do it for baby’s milestones? i personally call it a month on the same date. to each her own 🤷🏻♀️ Same day. Just think of their birthdays. May 8th would mean 11 more months until the first birthday. Mine was born April 7th. They are still 4 weeks, but months aren't exactly 4 weeks long. 4 weeks is only 28 days. Same date. Months don’t have exactly 4 weeks. Treat it the same as your own bday. I remember my husband (teasing) trying to convince me that baby was a month old at 4 weeks. I think it was a good 10 minute discussion at the time. Gotta love our crazy calendar system. Temi-T Baby is out now, you better start using months to calculate it. Or you will have to do 52 weeks countdown to do his/her one year birthday. Same date. Done with measuring by weeks after pregnancy!
