I'm 20 years old and sexually active and I have this very undesirable hair growing up my penis all around up the shaft. Not only does it feel uncomfortable and itchy it makes me feel very insecure about it. I have to shave EVERYTIME before I go out. Then the next day I will have a stubble there (grows fast)and if i shave it again it is very sensitive. I've read about it and people say its normal but I dont care i want to get rid of it forever. Ive been looking into laser removal, what do i do? Show

I feel very conscious about my junk having hairs everywhere, and would like to know if anyone else out here has come up with an easy solution that doesn't involve very sharp things being on my schlong. Edit: This blew up, front page, RIP inbox, yada yada yada..... Seriously though this got so much more response than I expected. Thank you guys for the suggestions. Hair growth on the shaft is perfectly normal and, if you're circumcised, to be expected. Circumcision, especially infant circumcision, removes a fair amount of mobile shaft skin and skin that would normally be around the very base of the penis/scrotum migrates up. I'd skip the shaving and pluck it. The first few times will sting a bit, but after you pluck hairs long enough they tend to get finer, the root gets weaker, and it doesn't hurt at all to pluck them out. Further, the results last for weeks and when they do grow in they don't itch (as the body has created a brand new hair with a soft tapered tip, instead of just pushing out the little sharp stump of the shaved hair). Dear Marilyn: I have hair going up the shaft of my penis. Is this normal? —Daniel F., Tulsa, OK Dear
Daniel: Hair on human bodies varies by individual. Penile shaft hair is rare but most frequently it is the result of circumcision, which pulls scrotal skin onto the shaft. Men with this problem sometimes manually remove the hairs one-by-one with a tweezer, or resort to electrolysis to eradicate unwanted hair growth on the shaft. If we stop doing circumcisions, this problem will end. —Marilyn David Biviano on September 12, 2022 at

The thing is... whenever I have sex I have to make sure I shave or else it is stubby. “I shave mostly and do tweeze some of the higher end stuff but it is so painful.”
