Napa ReviewsRating 3.95 out of 5 214 reviews Selecting a category below will take you to another page All Categories Great for tourists! Wineries, restaurants, shopping, and hotels are top notch! However, being a resident, you get a different side. Any roads that tourists don't see are absolutely destroyed. The cost of living is ridiculous and that leads to an
older population being the main residents which means there is nothing for the kids and teenagers to do in town. Not to mention people in local office have directly said there is no reason to do anything for children in Napa because they are going to move away anyway. All being said its fine if you have enough money and are much older (without kids), it has some nice areas, central in the bay area, and the vineyards are breathtaking year round (but especially in autumn)! Start Your Review of Napa Napa is a beautiful location for tourism, settling down, and growing up. It is filled with great attractions that spark joy and tranquility. Napa
has an array of diverse food for any kind of eater! Most importantly, the food is cultivated for the modern foodie. If you like Instagram-friendly foods, Napa is the place for you! Above all, it is a safe environment to raise a family. It would be nice to see more for children in the area. I feel as though there are not many activities and experiences that are geared toward youth. Above all, I plan to continue to raise my family in Napa and keep exploring all of it's beauty. Napa is fun if you're a tourist. Living in Napa not so much. City services are a joke, the roads and sidewalks are dangerous, trees are never trimmed - everyone wonders where their tax dollars are going. Meth and other addictions are rampant, the homeless population has skyrocketed and is not supported, you don't
dare walk downtown for fear of being hit by a drunk, lost tourist. Trying to get in and out of Napa is a nightmare with the commute and tourist traffic and the roads which haven't been updated since dirt. Don't move here, you'll regret it.
