Reviewed this attraction Teresa V I believe that a couple of hours will be enough to see everything at the monument, if you want to explore some of the hiking trails you will want to add time for that. But there are many things to do in the Black Hills that could keep you busy and entertained for several days. The Mammoth Site in Hot Springs is very interesting. Reviewed this attraction JeffP164 Rice Lake, Wisconsin We went to Mount Rushmore in early afternoon, after the scenic drive on Needles Hwy. went down to Keystone for dinner and shopping and back to Mount Rushmore for the lighting program. Next day went to Crazy Horse in early afternoon, watched two programs plus the history of Crazy Horse Memorial , got a return pass and went back for the Laser light show.
