Vehicles made their debut in Fortnite Chapter 1 Season 4 and since then, they have become an integral part of the game. Moving from one place to another can be quite a challenge, and having vehicles like cars or items like jump pads really saves players a lot of trouble.

One of the most popular vehicles has always been the Choppa. They first appeared in Fortnite Chapter 2, Season 2, but then disappeared until their surprise return in Chapter 3, Season 2. But where do you actually find a Choppa, and how do you fly it? We've got everything you need to know about the Choppa for you.

What Is A Choppa?

The Choppa is a helicopter that can move up, down, and in any horizontal direction at a constant speed.

They also have a boost feature that gives them a small speed boost in any direction. With this boost, the driver can smash through structures or throw enemies away.

The Choppa has room for five players: a pilot and four passengers. The Choppa also has a speaker function which, when switched on, plays the Ride of the Valkyries, a classic piece composed by Richard Vagner and made famous by the movie Apocalypse Now.

How Much Health Does A Choppa Have?

Choppas have 1,500 HP, making them the strongest vehicles in the game alongside Tanks and the Battle Bus.

If someone manages to destroy the Choppa or the fuel runs out, it will fall to the ground and explode, which almost always means certain death. So keep an eye on the life and fuel gauges and have a repair torch with you to be on the safe side.

All Choppa Locations On The Chapter 3 Map

With Fortnite Update 20.30, Epic Games has finally brought the Choppa back to the island. So far, there are four Choppas on the Fortnite map. You can find these at the following locations:

Since they were invented by the Seven, players can find them at various outposts of the Seven scattered across the island. There's a good chance more Choppas will appear later in the season. If this is the case, we will, of course, update the article for you. But now let's get to the exact locations.

Outpost I of the Seven

The first Outpost of the Seven can be found southwest of Greasy Grove. The Choppa is west of the POI's platform.

Outpost II of the Seven

Outpost 2 of the Seven is located northwest of Logjam Lumberyard. The Choppa is north of the town next to the platform.

Outpost III of the Seven

Outpost 3 of the Seven can be found northeast of The Daily Bugle and east of the Temple. The Choppa is located to the west of the town near the main building.

Outpost V of the Seven

The fifth Outpost of the Seven is located to the west of Command Cavern. The Choppa is on the edge of the island, next to the POI's platform. The fourth Outpost is currently not in-game.

How To Control A Choppa?

The Choppa can be used like any other vehicle by jumping into the pilot's seat and starting the engines. Once you're in the air, you can slowly maneuver your way through the sky with the control buttons. Boost your Choppa with the Circle button on PlayStation and the B button on Xbox consoles.
