Bath & Body Works released a new candle collection—White Barn—with seven candles: Dark Amber & Oud, Champagne Toast, Raspberries & Whipped Vanilla, White Tea & Sage, Champagne Toast, Mahogany Teakwood High Intensity, Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla and Strawberry Pound Cake.

The entire collection of three-wick candles uses a soy wax blend with natural essential oils:

Dark Amber & Oud is intended to smell like the woodlands after a rainstorm with notes of dark golden amber, fresh rainwater and oud wood.

Champagne Toast is intended to smell like a fruity, sweet, sparkling spritzer with notes of bubbly champagne, sparkling berries and juicy tangerine.

Raspberries & Whipped Vanilla is intended to smell like a slightly tart and creamy treat with notes of pink raspberries, strawberry vanilla bean and sugared lemon drops.

White Tea & Sage is intended to smell like an earthy, freshly brewed cup of tea with notes of sparkling bergamot, white tea and fresh sage.

Champagne Toast is intended to smell like a fruity, sweet, sparkling spritzer with notes of bubbly champagne, sparkling berries and juicy tangerine.

Mahogany Teakwood High Intensity is intended to smell like wearing a flannel for a hike in the woods with notes of rich mahogany, black teakwood, dark oak and frosted lavender.

Cinnamon Spiced Vanilla is intended to smell like a warm, spiced creamy snack with notes of fresh ground cinnamon, sugar crystals and Tahitian vanilla bean.

Strawberry Pound Cake is intended to smell like a sweet, airy treat with notes of fresh-picked strawberries, golden shortcake and whipped cream.

Beginnings of White Barn

In 1982, L. Brands (formerly Limited Brands, Inc and The Limited, Inc) purchased Victoria's Secret and later Bath & Body Works for its flagship brands. In 1998, the company converted several Bath & Body Works stores into White Barn Candle Company stores to launch their home fragrance brand. Later, the two stores were paired side by side.

White Barn Become Slatkin Co

In 2005, Limited Brands purchased Slatkin & Co. Most of the White Barn products were displaced by Slatkin's brands. The White Barn Candle Company stores featured Slatkin products instead of the White Barn brand.

Change Back to White Barn Label

In 2013, the White Barn Candle Company brand was resurrected. With its website redirected to Bath & Body Works, White Barn established itself as a Brand exclusive to Bath & Body Works, although White Barn is not part of L Brands.

White Barn candles are a soy-based wax with essential oil fragrances. The single wick candle has a burn time of 25-45 hours. The 3-wick candle has a fragrance burn time up to 45 hours. Soy candles have many advantages over paraffin and other candle waxes, including clean burning properties.
