We went there for my birthday celebration and it was my one of the best experience. All the wait staffs were so friendly. They made me feel special by joining the birthday celebration and also gave a cute cake and flower. The food was great. I am going to visit again for the food and the customer service.

Came for a birthday celebration and it thoroughly and enjoyable experience. We almost got a Cajun spice fatigue at the end of session as the portion was generous. We had the mixed bag, and a few other sides. The sides need to be bigger for what their priced at in my opinion. Overall it can get pricey dining here, but the experience was good too. Worth a try at the very least, and revisit if you like the spice and seafood. Staff was helpful with table order, requests and the birthday setup, although they seem under resourced. Keep it up!

One of the best place i ever been. The place where you don’t mind being your hands and clothes dirty 😂. We ordered big mixed bags and shrimp martini thing but couldn’t finish it. The sauce is the killer. I would recommend trying it with steamed rice. Its worth every penny.

Had such a great experience here for my birthday! I ordered the mixed bag of seafood with garlic butter and it was absolutely delicious! They didn't have any baby octopus but we were given extra prawns instead. The service was great! The lovely staff members brought out my birthday cake, sang to me and even gifted me a rose which was a nice surprise! Thank you Kickin' Inn Petersham for a lovely experience! My friends and I left feeling very satisfied and happy 😊 Will definitely come back again!

Really good Cajun style seafood boils. A little experience with eating shell fish is required to have a great time. Usually a really good restaurant for big groups. It does tend to get messy so it's best you visit with people you're comfortable eating around. Mud crabs in the shanbang sauce with a above acerage level of spice was my favorite!

Seafood boil! Received a nice free dessert, must've been like a Caramel tart, nice! Came with free bibs, gloves and wipes most definitely needed. Was so filling! We got the butter mixed plate and it was good! Had alot of spices in it and jam packed. I don't know how I was supposed to pour it but I did it! Would order another, be great for winter! Maybe 3 bags required to hold the goodness 🙂

The food was delicious and the service was impeccable. I’ve never tried anything like it. We had a couple of the mixed bags and some of the starters. Emma was especially very helpful on the night and made sure we were taken care of. A very fun experience and I look forward to coming back.

Fun way to eat seafood with family and friends! Make sure to book a reservation or otherwise go during off-peak times like very late lunch after 2pm if you want to walk in without a booking. We had the mystery bag which was enough for 6 people. Staying clean was pretty easy with the bibs and gloves provided. Staff were friendly and welcoming, really good venue overall.

Bloody love Kickin Inn, even if I can't handle the spice 🥵 gone a few times and always impressed. The food is delicious and the sauce is *chef's kiss* too good to be true. Loved the mixed bags, highly recommend the Garlic Butter and the Sha Bang sauces, amazing. Definitely an experience for the kids to eat off the table, I think they might want to eat off the table at home from now on also. The couple of times we got the fried food were quite dry. Really hope they would open stores in the north side.

Best place for family birthday celebrations! We have had 3 birthday dinners here for different members of our family this year and it’s always so much fun. They play the birthday song over the speakers, the entire staff comes around to sing and spoils us with cakes, drinks and presents! And of course, the food and high quality customer service never disappoints! Massive thanks to Sanjay and his team for such a fabulous and special time with my family!!! Delicious, I love the concept. Nice clean restaurant, friendly staff, good variety on the menu. Food was super tasty, we had the lobster and mini mixed bag with two glasses of wing for just under $80 for lunch and I was able to use the dine and discover voucher. The sauce on the seafood was delish. I really like the concept of pouring it on the table and eating with your hands.

Interesting experience, they dump the food out on the table and you simply dig in wearing the black latex gloves they provide. It leaves a massive mess on the table but it also fun to eat this way. As for the food (lunch), we found it to be very nice. We got the peeled prawns and the pippies. Myself and the wife both agree we would go back for a dinner feed and drinks (they have a good drinks menu).

Staff were so friendly and made us feel welcome as it was our first time! Would definitely recommend and is great as a couple but also in a group! Sanjay was the best!

Have been here a couple of times. Kickin Inn are *awesome* at seafood in a bag. The shebang sauce with a mid level of spice is my recommendation and get one of the suggested 'bags' or better still, the 'Drag and Drop' option which I think is the best way to get exactly what you want. The entree Shrimp cocktail is pricey but quite big and an OK option if you are not going the whole hog with a big bag of seafood. The lobster plate (not in a bag) was a bit dry and I would not order it again. The place is rocking on a busy night and gets chaotic, loud and messy, but overall a good atmosphere. One thing to absolutely stay away from is their so-called 'cocktails'. These overpriced barely alcoholic soft drinks served in a schooner glass are an insult to the genre. I would be shot down in flames (and sacked) if I ever presented a cocktail that looked like that where I worked. You are best off with table water which you will have to specially ask for. If you stick to the great seafood here, with that awesome shebang sauce you will want to drink right out of the bag, you are just about guaranteed a fantastic feast. Enjoy.

Absolutely fabulous! The service was amazing, warm and welcoming, attention to detail and friendly. Didn't have to wait long at all fir our dinner. They politely watched and waited till we had finished our dinner and surprised me with a birthday cake with a lit candle followed by a beautiful rose. To complete the amazing experience the staff sang happy birthday to me and watched me blow out the candle. We highly recommend it. Hurry and book a table. I'm definitely going again

Fun experience with friends. We loved the garlic butter sauce with king crab. Be careful of the hot sauce that can drip off the tables when pouring the goods out of the bags. Lot of single use plastic being used here which made me a bit uncomfortable to be honest. Some items are understandable but cups definitely didn't have to be.

Fantastic dinner! Service was good, the owner even came by the table to say hello. Mixed bag was the best, messy and fun and delicious! The child was very happy with the kids pasta as well, the large serving was devoured. Good value for money seafood, large portions!

Had dinner here tonight, it was quite an experience. Well worth the 2 trains and 6 minutes walk to get there. We had a mixed bag with sha-bag sauce, a while lobster with garlic butter sauce which came with chips and salad and 2 serves of rice. Everything we had was delicious and tasty. The seafood was fresh and well cooked not over cooked at all, very juicy and the crabs were sweet in taste. Worth going as a group and splitting the bill. We were served by Nathan who was great with sharing the menu and giving us suggestions of what's good. Thanks for a great end to the week.

This was so awesome!!!! No plates and there is no cutlery, you eat right from the bag, on the table and with your hands. Bibs and gloves provided. Our waitress Natalie was so lovely! My partner took me here to celebrate my birthday and the food and atmosphere was amazing. We ordered the mud crab and food was prepared to an exceptional standard and was absolutely delicious. On top of this the staff were all so friendly and one of the co-owners Stevie, took the time to welcome us personally as this was our first time. They brought out a delicious cake and sang happy birthday and really made the night very memorable. We’re looking forward to going back very soon !

Nice place for an occasion. Having food served onto your table and eating with hands is a fun novelty but gloves and bibs are provided. Disappointingly, several items we were after weren't in stock when we dined. Food was on the saltier side but the she-bang sauce was nice. Definitely a place to go with groups. The balloons for kids were a nice touch.

Really generous portion sizes! Really good service and explanation for first time visitors. Garlic Cajun is the way to go! No complaints here. Had the mix bad and Alaskans king crab cluster. Cluster was amazing. Really nice tasty food all up. Also to see the owner in on a Sunday and interacting with staff and guests is always a major plus to see! Will be back again!
