5.0 out of 5 stars Better than Rustoleum Tub and Tile

Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on 15 September 2020

I tried this after I tried Rustoleum Tub and Tile and I should've gone with Krylon first! The Rustoleum chipped during my first bath but I redid the refurbishing with Krylon and it's been holding up well for months now. WORD OF ADVICE: get some tub and tile primer also and prime the tub first with it really good and the Krylon will adhere really well. It isn't going to be shiny but it'll be very durable.

2.0 out of 5 stars Temporarily great

I bought this to make an old tub look better until we could replace it for what we wanted. Despite having fans and windows open, then fumes were overwhelming. End result didn't look too bad. However by about 5 months it started peeling away. Almost like chips coming off. Putting soap on it would pull it off(and since it is for shower/tub) that doesn't seem like a good plan. I did follow the instructions, I let it dry much longer actually than needed. For a temporary fix, it did the job. If it wasn't the fumiest paint I've ever used I would probably touch it up...instead I'm going to look for another solution.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works well hope it last

I wanted to update my bathroom but after pricing the cost of over $400 to put a new step in shower in I decided to try refreshing mine first. A lot of reading convinced me to try this paint and it has worked as advertised. The 1 can covered only about half of my shower so I took a huge chance and bought 3 cans of another cheaper paint ( rustoleum lacqer $5 each compared to the cost of this one). I don't know how well it will hold up but I can't tell any difference between the paints so far.

1.0 out of 5 stars Doesnt work

Finally got to use this after preping everything and here the damn thing dont work. Spray button doesnt push down. Took off the spray button and there is nothing going into the can to let the paint out. So if you buy this check it as soon as you get it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Wear mask!

Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on 15 July 2019

Easy to use, but definitely wear a painter’s mask. The fumes are very strong. I let the paint dry for 4 days and it hasn’t peeled yet. We are fortunate to have a second bathroom we were able to use. Probably best to paint before a weekend away from home. It’s been about 2 weeks. Will see how it wears over time.
