1.0 out of 5 stars Pump Doesn’t Work!
Reviewed in the United States on June 12, 2019

Several reviews mentioned the pump not working. I mistakenly ignored those. The pump would not spray, no matter how many times I pressed down on the button. This was a complete waste of money, made more frustrating by me paying to have it shipped next day. I recommend you steer clear of this product.

This product works really well. I sprayed it on my dogs hot spots where she’s chewed her fur off and could not stop scratching and licking. It does not sting and seems to soothe the area. The trick is to make sure it’s dry after you spray- I used a hand held fan to help the area dry after spraying. I found this really helps to ensure the product does its job and protects the wound. Great value and easy to use.

My puppy has chronic paw pads issues (which we are working hard to figure out and clear up). He regularly blows his pad which makes them painful open sores. He loves to run and play and this makes him so sad when he can’t. Enter this spray which is essentially like second skin for humans. I apply his paw ointment first and let it soak in, then I spray this on. To be fair, he is an 85 pound German shepherd puppy and I absolutely have to sit on him and keep him occupied while this stuff dries. Fortunately that only takes about a minute. His healing time has been greatly improved and he can walk around without pain. I am so pleased to have found this! I DO reapply a couple of times a day. Paw pads get a lot of wear and this does wear off if you only expect to apply every couple of days. Twice a day has worked wonders for us.

My dog had a flap of his pad that was torn or lifting up after playing with my sister’s puppy on the concrete. It was bleeding but didn’t seem to cause him pain. I ordered this for same day delivery and it sealed up the area immediately. Great product! Every dog owner should have this in their first aid kit.

This stuff worked WONDERS on my dog’s paw! My poor baby had burned her paw and it was pretty raw and sore. As soon as I started to use this she seemed to feel better and new skin started forming. HIGHLY recommended!

We use (used) this on small/medium wounds for our pups and their parents. It helps protect wounds, seal wounds from outside irritations (sand, gnats, flies) and soothes the area so that the dogs forget about constantly licking the wound. It works so well that we bought more for emergency storage.

I have a poor little pupper with a bad paw currently. I bought this as a solution to him licking off antibacterial ointment. So imagine my surprise when I get it and the spray nozzle does not function. at. all. The first night I ended up drizzling a bit of the solution onto his paw from the end of the nozzle straw but that took FOREVER to dry (and didn't even really seem to dry) because obviously it was a drop amount and not a nice little spray of it. I had to rummage around for a spray bottle not being used because I didn't want to go out and buy one. Since being in a different bottle it functions how it should and does seem like it may work. It definitely takes longer to dry down than it says - and I can tell because my hands stay tacky for awhile after I spritz the little man's lil paws with it. As long as it seals his wounds I'm happy - however, if I'm spending like $11 on a product, it'd be nice if the product packaging actually functioned as intended, ya know?

This was great. My dog let put this on with no problem. No stinging and this was an open wound. I would get it again. Saved a vet visit.

3.0 out of 5 stars Contents good but pump action not

Reviewed in the United Kingdom 🇬🇧 on December 5, 2020

This product certainly seems effective - my dog has a raw exposed section on top of a mammary gland tumour, which because of the tumour will not heal, according to my vet. The spray is definitely better than the cream I was using before, and she is licking it a lot less. The only problem I have is with the pump action on the bottle. It does come out eventually, after maybe six or seven depressions, and then a few more before the next one comes. It also doesn't spray evenly. One time it sprays fully, the next in a thin line. It can also only be done upright, which is awkward when the exposed spot is on her stomach area. So the product inside the bottle seems good, but I would recommend the manufacturers get a different pump action for the bottle.

This item cannot be returned and I see why!! Payed 25 pounds for it and it does absolutely nothing! It's like spraying water on the area and does not put a protective waterproof cover over the wound at all.tried to return it ...not allowed.wasted 25 pounds.

1.0 out of 5 stars Waste of money. Pump didn’t work and like water. Can’t understand why Amazon are still selling it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Good for pets AND people

I bought this because j could not find bandages that would stick to my dogs under belly sores after breast cancer treatment. The bottle is bigger than I thought, fluid also goes a long way thanks to a good spray tip. She seemed to almost immediately have relief, so I tried it on myself when I chew my fingers from anxiety and it REALLY HELPS!

Liquid Bandage for Dogs near me

Can liquid bandage be used on dogs?

The answer is – yes. You can use a liquid bandage on your dog's minor cuts and wounds. Liquid bandage works almost instantly, doesn't hinder the movements, and can be applied on tough-to-heal areas such as the tail, paws, ears, nose, and nails.

What does liquid bandage do for dogs?

The 3M Pet Care Liquid Bandage forms a protective barrier over minor cuts, abrasions and skin irritations to help seal in moisture and promote healing. The spray-on formula offers breathable, waterproof protection that is alcohol-free and doesn't sting when applied.

What kind of bandage can I use on my dog?

Non-stick bandages work great for this, since they won't irritate your pup's fur. If you don't have non-stick gauze, though, use your regular wraps and stick some adhesive tape over the gauze bandage to hold it in place.

How do you use remedy recovery liquid bandage for dogs?

Directions. Spray lightly, hold animal still for 30 to 60 seconds. Bandage wears off as skin returns to normal. Re-spray daily if necessary.
