Nice and Easy Light Champagne Blonde reviews

Nice and Easy Light Champagne Blonde reviews

I put dark champagne blonde in my hair 2 weeks ago. After the first wash, it was a lot lighter and it's so light now after 4 washes that I am currently sitting here with another one in my hair. I've used Clariol hair dyes many times before and they have never washed out so fast like this one.

Purchased in April 2021 at Coles for $10.

I’ve use this product for over 30yrs. The gray/white coverage is 100%. Conditioner is excellent. I love that it fades all over, with no roots showing. 8CB colour has changed slightly in that the slight pink tinge is not there but it’s still a fabulous colour. Wouldn’t use any other product. Only complaint Is that my colour is very hard to find in stores. Probably because it’s so popular.
Love love love it.

I have used Clairol Nice'n Easy 103B Medium Champagne Blonde for years and years....
I have fairly light blonde hair, so I used it as a toner of sorts.
I had to buy the re labeled one i.e. 8CD and the colour is completely different....
The colour it gave me before had a very slightly pinky tone....this one is just blah - in fact, I don't detect any actual colour at all....
I will be changing to a different brand.... you have lost another customer Clairol....

I have been using Clairol Nice 'N Easy for over 45 years now and have been using 8CB (103B) since they released it. I loved the product and how it made my hair look and feel. It left no residue and my hair stayed very healthy even when using this dye. Clairol told me the closest color would be 8C. I tried it and it was way too dark and had a tint of red to it.....Well Clairol, looks like you have lost another devoted customer.....Time to switch....

What on earth has happened to this product? I have used shade 103b for many years and have always been very happy with the result achieved on my hair. However, since it has been discontinued I have tried the specified replacement shade and it is nothing like 103b, it is far too dark and not multi-tonal. So disappointed in this that I have lost faith in Clairol and will be buying from an alternative company in the future.

Purchased in February 2019 for $6.99.

I coloured with Medium Champagne Blond for ten years with superb results. I loved the vibrant colour that lasted three months when I got a haircut. I was disappointed when I could no longer get my favourite colour despite hunting through stores so I decided to try pale blond in their new formula instead. The colour left a greenish tinge and dried out my hair and scalp. The new colour cream easily stained clothing and made my skin itchy. The colour also covered poorly and faded under a month. For my next hair coloring, I'm am going with a different brand. It's a nice and easy way to lose customers.

Because I couldn't find the shade in various shops, I chose another in the Clairol range which I thought may be similar. It was not, and was a brown, dull looking and certainly not multi-tonal - far too dark. I was advised by a hairdresser to wash my hair with a lightening shampoo. I chose John Frieda 'Sheer Blonde' - not cheap, but I have kept using it and after quite a few weeks I am feeling better about the colour. However my grey roots began to show so I purchased Clairol root touch-up for medium blonde shades which i have used today and I believe things are sorted. However I would still like to return to the original medium champagne blonde if at all possible, as I was really pleased with it.

Purchased in August 2018.

Have used 103B and 8CB for years and years and loved it. Cannot find info about what colour has replaced it and the new dye looks way too dark. Why did you have to change it? Really, really disappointed that 103B/8CB is no longer available. Please bring back or tell me which dye has replaced Natural Medium Champagne Blond.

I have used this colour since it was 103b only colour I have ever liked so then it went to 8cb yet again they have changed it without informing any one that it is now Dark Brown I even took mine to hairdresser in the past as I preferred the Clairol 8cb I was totally mortified when I saw the results this is false advertising too ! I will never use Clairol again be warned this colour has changed drastically if I don't get some kind of compensation within the week I'm going to notify trading standards

I have used nice and easy colour for at least 10 years and have been very pleased with the colour and even telling my friends which colour it is 103 B medium champagne blonde. I am so disappointed that l can't get it anymore so are my friends. I tried another colour which I thought would be similar it was so dark and even after washing it loads of times it was still too dark I don't know why you have to change it when it was so popular

Why won’t you bring it back because there is no alternative colour that gives the same result. As a customer of yours for many years using that colour I think it would be only reasonable to expect an answer.

I just googled Clairol nice n easy 103b and it comes up where it’s still available. I found 2 at my local Chemist Warehouse which I ordered for click n collect today.

Nice 'n Easy 103B Medium Champagne Blonde

Just read all of the reviews on this shade, I agree entirely used this for years, great colour, multi tonal as box says and always got compliments about my hair. No longer applies, the new formula is awful, dark, flat colour, dreadful. My question is has any one found an alternative? - I'm desperate!! But love to get the multi tonal shade which always looked like my hair was highlighted. P.S. Tried a garnier nutrisse - says multi tonal - it's not, flat brown colour on dark blonde hair - avoid!!

I had the same problems. I moved to Garnier Olia, absolutely delighted with it and there is no ammonia.

Hi Kris, glad to hear you've found something that suits you, however you didn't mention the colour number also is it multi tonal? I too have found a suitable replacement that works for me it's Loreal...

Read more Age Perfect No 7.31 Dark Beige Blonde, although it may seem a little darker than I thought it would be but after a couple of washes seems to lighten and definitely gives me 'multi tonal' effect which is what I was looking for. Too many colours just give the 'flat' colour which I hate, so may be worth a try for you.

What undertone is champagne blonde?

Many people think blondes fall into two camps; cool or golden. Champagne Blonde provides an in-between option; it is a neutral warm, that doesn't have too much yellow and isn't too ashy or flat.

Is champagne blonde neutral?

Champagne blonde is a neutral color, which means it falls between warm and cool, although it does look better on people with warm skin tones. Although champagne blonde is light and summery, it's not as buttery as some warmer blondes or dramatic as a color like platinum blonde.
