Brad Paisley fans coming to PNC Music Pavilion Charlotte this Saturday 8/24 – to reserve your early parking, lawn chair...

Posted by PNC Music Pavilion on Thursday, August 22, 2019

The lawn at PNC Pavilion is a sloped, grassy area behind reserved seating that offers mostly clear sight lines to the stage. Tickets for this location are general admission so fans can choose to sit anywhere on the grass.

There are a few bad locations behind the poles supporting the roof, but these can be avoided by arriving early and securing one of the best seats in the center of the lawn.

Most ticketholders bring a blanket or lawn chair to sit on. Chairs must be low to the ground and have a low back. Chairs are also available for rental from the venue for a small fee.

For reserved seats, the next best option is the terrace seats in sections 10-15 just in front of the lawn.

Reserved Lawn

Another assigned seat option is the Reserved Lawn. This is a section that is typically in the middle of the lawn behind sections 12 and 13. Only those with tickets to this area will be able to access. The key benefit is that fans can arrive later and still have a good view from the lawn.

Note: These seats are highlighted on the map

Seating & Ticket Questions

Where is Row 181 Seat 25 on the Lawn? Our tickets have section as Lawn, Row is 181, and Seat is 25.  Can you tell me where these are located and whether they have chairs?  Thanks.

All tickets in the Lawn section at PNC Music Pavilion will be general admission on the open air grass lawn located behind the reserved pavilion seats. You won't have an exact reserved location to watch the show as the area is general admission and spots will fill up on a first come first serve basis.

There are no actual seats on the lawn, however fans with Lawn tickets are permitted to bring their own small camping or lawn chairs with no leg or roof attachments. You may also bring 1 factory sealed water bottle, food in a clear 1 gallon ziploc bag, small blankets or beach towels, and a small retractable style umbrella.

Do lawn tickets with a row number just reference a row that doesn't really exist? I have purchased 11 tickets for an upcoming event and unfortunately, they all reference different rows on the lawn area. I'm concerned that my party will end up all over the place.

All Lawn tickets at PNC Music Pavilion are general admission. Some tickets reference a row or seat number, but these are strictly for book-keeping purposes. All lawn tickets are identical and give you access to the grassy area at the back of the venue. All lawn spaces are first-come, first-serve, so we recommend arriving as early as possible.

Can you take lawn chairs to PNC Music Pavilion?

Food allowed in a clear one gallon plastic bag and one sealed bottle of water. Low lawn chairs such as beach chairs are allowed. The seat can't be higher than 9-inches from the ground.

Can you bring lawn chairs to PNC Charlotte?

Low lawn chairs e.g. beach chairs are allowed but the seat cannot be higher than 9 inches from the ground. Personal cameras are allowed in the venue but flash photography, video and removable lens cameras are prohibited without the venue's approval.

What is reserved lawn seats at PNC?

Some Lawn tickets are labeled Reserved Lawn. This is a separate section within the lawn. These seats are centered to the stage and reserved so fans do not have to arrive early to get their spot on the lawn. Lawn chairs are allowed on the grass, but personal lawn chairs can not be brought into the venue.

Is premier parking at PNC Music Pavilion worth it?

Absolutely worth it in my experience.
