View AllClose How good is the Baby Rock 380?380 rounds are competent man-stoppers, especially when aimed accurately and sent through a 3 ¾-inch barrel. Due to the Baby Rock's blowback design, shooters with weaker hands might find the slide a bit tough to retract. It's not hard by any stretch and it's very smooth, but it's not as easy as a regular 1911.
Who makes the magazines for Rock Island Armory?ARMSCOR-ROCK ISLAND & ACT-MAG : Greg Cote LLC.
How reliable are Rock Island Firearms? The Rock has earned a good reputation and some affection among shooters. It is arguably the least expensive 1911 in the world that offers good reliability. There are higher-grade versions with Novak-type sights, an extended beavertail safety and ambidextrous thumb safety.
Where are Rock Island guns made? The Rock Island Armory 1911 series is a product line of single-action recoil operated semi-automatic pistols. They are designed and manufactured by Armscor in Marikina, Philippines, and distributed in the United States by Armscor USA, located in Pahrump, Nevada.
