    South Carolina High School Soccer All Region Teams

    The South Carolina High School Soccer Coaches Association All-State Committee met Sunday, May 7 at River Bluff High School in Lexington to select the nine 2017 SCHSSCA All-State Teams.

    Each classification that stages a state championship match is featured: BOYS - Class 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A, 1A; GIRLS - Class 5A, 4A, 3A, 2A.

    The South Carolina High School League State Finals will be held May 12-13 at Irmo High School's W.C. Hawkins Stadium for the second consecutive year.

    Friday, May 12

    • 2 pm - 2A Girls: St. Joseph's Catholic (15-4-1) vs. Academic Magnet (17-6)
    • 4 pm - 2A Boys: St. Joseph's Catholic (15-6) vs. Academic Magnet (17-4-1)
    • 6 pm - 4A Girls: South Aiken (17-3-1) vs. Chapin (19-4)
    • 8 pm - 4A Boys: Eastside (20-1) vs. Chapin (17-6)

    Saturday, May 13

    • 11 am - 1A Boys: Dixie (17-3) vs. Palmetto Scholars Academy (14-3)
    • 1 pm - 3A Girls: Indian Land (18-5-1) vs. Brookland-Cayce (19-6-2)
    • 3 pm - 3A Boys: Berea (20-0) vs. Bluffton (21-2)
    • 5 pm - 5A Girls: J.L. Mann (23-1) vs. Wando (20-2)
    • 7 pm - 5A Boys: J.L. Mann (17-3-1) vs. Wando (26-0)

    Admission is $10 and the gates will open one hour prior to the first match each day. Preferred parking will be in the front of the stadium at $5.00 per car. Free parking will be available in other lots. No signs, banners, posters, flags, air horns, vuvuzelas or whistles allowed in stadium.

    The Upstate of South Carolina was well represented in this year's all-state soccer selections. Players from multiple counties were a part of the all state picks by the coaces association.
