The Good Doctor Season 5 Episode 10 pregnant woman

Glassman tries to convince Shaun that quitting and looking for another residency will not work. Lea has another plan. She's talking to an investigative reporter and thinks Shaun should apologize and un-quit.

Andrews and Salen talk. She thinks that his patient is better off for the risk he took and also she can replace anyone who quits.

Shaun interrupts Morgan's examining a patient to examine him himself. The guy has a partial liver transplant from his best friend. Anyway Morgan will schedule a head CT. Shaun turns around and Salen is standing there. She wants him to leave. Shaun stands up to her.

A woman comes in with her surrogate. The pregnant woman has some bleeding and something wrong with her baby.

Park and Shaun discuss the Salen situation until their patient has a seizure in the MRI.

Asher feels a need to complain that women shouldn't be paid for surrogacy. Also he thinks Jordan should join the anti-Salen movement. Jordan discovers something wrong.

Salen interrupts a meeting against her and tells the residents to go and that shee's firing the doctors. The residents leave. Salen says she has proof of how horrible Glassman, Lim, and Lea are. She threatens to release their backgrounds.

Three people have quit the opposition. Lea wonders if they are wasting their time. Glassman says probably. Lim says they should meet the reporter at the board meeting and do some damage. Lea agrees even though it could ruin her career.

Andrews confronts Salen. He considers blackmail to have crossed the line. Salen says think big picture and tries to imply Andrews could be president of the hospital.

Grace wants Lim. Andrews tells her Lim isn't available. She has a tumor in her bladder. The safest option is to terminate the pregnancy. She could do chemotherapy while pregnant but it won't be as effective. Grace wants the chemo.

Morgan tells Park Salen is right. Park is upset. Morgan doesn't see why he's obsessing about this.

Andrews says Shaun can talk about what happened if he wants. Shaun wants to focus on the patient, who he says has encephalitis. Park disagrees. Andrews listens to Park. Shaun thinks Andrews should trust him.

Asher isn't paying attention to Jordan's discussion of the patient. He wants her to join them at the meeting. She thinks he will blow up his career and should respect her choice not to participate in this.

Grace crashes.

Shaun notices the patient's neck is bothering him. He finds a rash.

Andrews says a uterine vessel ruptured and again he thinks Grace should terminate. Grace says but you said chemotherapy is safe for the baby. Andrews says the cancer could kill her. But there is an experimental surgery that might work. But it comes with a 30% chance of miscarriage. Grace's friend thinks she should terminate and get the surgery that will get rid of all the cancer. But Grace wants to do the chemo. Andrews says she won't survive. She doesn't care as long as the baby reaches viability.

Park goes to see Morgan. He went through her recent cases because of what Salen said. Morgan says what's the problem with Salen liking me? Now you don't trust me? Park has found a patient who is half-blind because of Morgan, who didn't tell the patient about an experimental surgery.

Park and Shaun disagree on the diagnosis. Park is in a mood. He says Salen fired their friends -- does Andrews support that? Morgan says Park is not facing reality. Park says Morgan is complicit and so is Andrws. Shaun seems to be the only one interested in discussing the patient. Park says he quits.

Shaun wants to join the opposition. Lea thinks he shouldn't risk his residency so close to the end. Shaun says they have all stood up for him and now he wants to stand up for them.

Jordan is angry at Asher. He doesn't get that as a Black woman she doesn't have the luxury of getting into this fight. He apologizes. Jordan realizes Grace must have had a child before becoming a surrogate.

Jordan tells Grace that what happened to her baby wasn't her fault. Grace blames herself for not paying attention to her baby at the park. She was arguing on the phone with her boyfriend and the baby fell.

Jordan tells her that killing herself won't bring her baby back. Grace's value isn't just in the children she carries. Asher tells her she's being selfish and this is also about Amanda, who loves her and doesn't want her to sacrifice her life. Jordan says let us do the surgery even without termination.

A security guard is watching Lim pack. Andrews sends the guard away and says he's sorry this is how this ended. Lim says we're not done. Andrews says he doesn't control Salen.

Morgan talks to her former patient, who says that being forced into retirement is the best thing that ever happened to her. She got her work/life balance back and is spending time with her family.

Ryan has liver cancer. Probably from the donated lobe. The cancer has metastasized and Ryan has only a few months left. Shaun's phone rings.

Glassman warns Shaun that Salen will fire him and then come after him publicly. Shaun doesn't care. Glassman says Shaun can't risk it because he's exceptional and they aren't. Shaun says this is his decision and he's an adult. Glassman asks what Shaun will do if he's not a surgeon. Shaun says if everyone he cares about is fired he does not want to work at the hospital. Glassman wants to help with the speech then. Shaun won't let him.

Andrews and Jordan operate on Grace. BP is dropping and the baby is also in fetal distress.

Ryan is prepped for surgery. His friend feels guilty for giving him cancer.

Tumor is stuck to the uterus. Asher insists they need to do an emergency hysterectomy. Jordan has another idea.

Morgan tells Park she's going to go public. She has to make this right. Park isn't sure she can.

Salen tells Andrews about everyone speaking at the meeting. Andrews tells her that the doctors are right and she needs to hear them out and get them to not be at the meeting. She will lose more than this hospital if she loses. She says she has to go get ready.

Jordan shows up while everyone is getting ready for the meeting. Shaun and Lea hold hands. Salen comes in with a bunch of suits. Andrews comes from the other way and gives her his file. If she's going to go through with this deal she'll have to destroy him. She should walk away.. He gives her a pen and she signs and wishes him luck because this is all his problem.  She leaves.

Park tells Morgan he's gonna sleep at his place tonight. Morgan gives him a paper. She sent Neera an admission she didn't give her all the info. She didn't do it for him. She did it for who she was when she's with him.

Everyone applauds as Lim returns to the floor. She looks at Andrews.

Grace's ultrasound shows the baby is safe.

Ryan's wife and baby daughter come to see him.

Shaun helps Lea unpack.

Andrews is now the President of the hospital.
