The Purge (2013)

In a country that is now teeming with crime, with the prisons bursting at the seams, a period of time is allotted in which crimes are completely legal; even murder.

We are then introduced to a wealthy family, the Sandins.

James Sandin (played by Ethan Hawke) and his wife Mary (played by Lena Headey) struggle with their children (Max Burkholder and Adelaide Kane) to survive while resisting the temptation to become monsters like those they are avoiding.

Follow as this wealthy family struggles, people are held hostage, and some are even killed.

The Purge: Anarchy (2014)

In The Purge: Anarchy, the chaos continues.

On one evening each year, an entire 12-hour time period is designated when the citizens are permitted to commit crimes with no consequence.
