Things to do between Barstow and Las Vegas

By mandate of Steve Wynn himself (back when he was still involved with his own eponymously named chain of resorts, anyway), every restaurant inside the Wynn and Encore resorts offers vegan and vegetarian menus overseen by the celebrated vegan chef Tal Ronnen. The overwhelming majority of the places mentioned on this list can be classified as fast-casual and casual cafés, so for those seeking a fine dining experience, the options might feel lacking. If that's the case, head to the north end of the Strip and enjoy elegant, sophisticated plant-based dining at some of the top fine dining establishments in Las Vegas.

Spreading across 110,00 square feet, The Wynn’s gaming space is every gambler’s paradise. There, you’ll come across a dazzling array of traditional and contemporary table games — from baccarat to blackjack and roulette —, as well as more than 1,800 slot machines including classic games like Fortune, Megabucks, Monopoly, Blazing 7’s, and Top Dollar. The Wynn Casino also boasts a high-end poker room, which plays host to exciting cash games and tournaments, and a Race & Sports Book, where gamblers can experience the comfort and big-screen views of a movie theater combined with the thrill of sports betting.

Together with the adjacent Wynn Las Vegas, Encore at Wynn is one of the largest and most opulent hotels in Vegas. Located on a quieter stretch of the Strip (north of most Vegas mega resorts) with all guests at the newer 2,034-room Encore given access to the full suite of amenities at the main 2,716-room Wynn, the combined resort claims the most five-star awards of any independent hotel in the world. With an almost incomprehensible 263,000 square feet of gaming space between the two hotels, Encore’s gaming floor is a bit more laid-back and is home to the Wynn’s legendarily posh 28-table poker room.

The Esplanade at Wynn is an exquisite collection of boutiques, international designers, and luxury brands, all wrapped up into one 75,000 sq ft of shopping paradise in Las Vegas. Here is where you’ll find designers like Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Chanel, Prada, and others are known for their exquisite fashion and timeless style. While at the Wynn, you can also enjoy shopping at the Wynn Plaza, with an even wider selection of designers, or the Encore Esplanade with a small but expertly curated collection of designer shops that will tempt you to spend your life savings.

You don't have to be a high roller to feel like one at this upscale casino, featuring 111,000 square feet of gaming space. Alongside popular table games like baccarat, blackjack, Big 6, European roulette, mini-baccarat, Pai Gow poker, roulette and three card poker, guests will find all their favorite slot machines, including Wheel of Fortune and Monopoly. There's also a state-of-the-art race and sports book featuring a VIP section with individual wagering monitors and a 27-table poker room that offers a variety of games and limits to suit all levels of play.

The recipient of more Forbes Five Star awards than any other casino resort in the world, Encore and its partner hotel Wynn have made an impressive impact on the Las Vegas Strip since their opening in 2008 and 2003 respectively. On the site of the former Desert Inn, Encore offers a modern and upscale atmosphere with some of the best clubs and restaurants on the Strip. Dine on mouthwatering steaks prepared by Chef Mark LoRusso at Botero, sip on a $10,000 cocktail at chic nightclub XS or relax at the Forbes Five Star Spa.

One of the few venues not falling under the MGM Resorts or Caesars Entertainment umbrella, Wynn is the namesake of former casino mogul Steve Wynn. Simply put, Las Vegas wouldn’t be what it is today without Wynn’s guidance, as his glory days produced fixtures like the Mirage and the Bellagio on The Strip, as well as Golden Nugget in the Downtown district. But after selling those properties off and launching his own company, Wynn Resorts, the influential architect of modern Las Vegas built the Wynn Las Vegas in 2005.

Widely considered to be one of the best luxury resorts in the world, the award-winning Wynn Las Vegas also has a gorgeous casino for visitors and guests to enjoy. Decadently decorated, its art and floral-filled galleries have all kinds of games for you to try in a chic and sophisticated setting. Since opening in 2005, its countless table games, slot machines, and poker rooms have proved to be very popular with high-flyers while the casino’s incredible entrance attracts just as many people.

A dreamy wonderland of gleaming gold decor, marble and enchanting flower displays, the Wynn radiates romance from the moment you check in. Rooms come with plush robes and oversized baths as well as beds facing the floor-to-ceiling windows, so you can snuggle up and watch the sunrise over the city. Candle-lit dinners are a doddle, too: Costa di Mare serves fresh seafood flown in daily at its very own lagoon, while Wing Lei was the first Chinese restaurant in the US to earn a Michelin star.

So maybe a hotel buffet doesn’t sound all that appealing while splurging on a vacation in Las Vegas, but The Buffet at Wynn was voted the best buffet in all of Las Vegas by the Hotel Concierge Association of Southern Nevada. There are 15 live cooking stations at The Buffet at Wynn, each specializing in a different type of food, like seafood, steak, and other beautifully prepared foods. There’s a patisserie, where guests can find beautiful and delicious pastries, and a chocolate fountain.

For Tower Rooms, Parlor Suites and Salon Suites includes USD 50 daily breakfast credit which can be used at the outlets listed below between the hours of 5am and 12pm:. - Tableau - Terrace Pointe Café - The Buffet - Jardin - Goodies on Demand - Drugstore Café. Other amenities include: - Exclusive Tower Suites entrance and registration - Personal concierge - Bellman and valet - Garment pressing for up to four (4) items per day - Choice of two (2) newspapers - Boarding pass printing.

Going eleven years strong, XS at the Wynn Encore Hotel is still undeniably the King of Clubs. Regarded by many as one of the most luxurious nightclubs on Earth, XS continues to rack up five-star rankings and plenty of adoration from club goers with its 40,000 feet of sprawling dance floor, outdoor patio, and pool area. The venue offers over 70 VIP tables inside and another 80+ tables outdoors, providing a flexible range of price options if you are looking for that VIP experience.

White wicker lounge chairs, fantastical red umbrellas, and over-the-top cocktails make this lush three-tiered pool complex a sight to behold. Patrons lounge on oversize lily pads and dance under shower poles—and those who splurge enjoy private bungalows overlooking the Strip, equipped with private dipping pools, showers, and air conditioning. Daybeds have private safes for stashing your things, and the 26 cabanas are outfitted with refrigerators and flat-screen televisions.

When the 215-acre Wynn resort opened in 2005, it ushered in a new era of ultra luxury, taking over from the Bellagio as the city's main large luxury resort option. While many competitors have risen since its opening, the Wynn continues to provide an extremely luxurious experience, even for those staying in its most basic Wynn Resort rooms. Even these least expensive rooms get a beautiful marble bathroom with a soaking tub, separate shower, and separate lavatory room.

Encore and its sister property, Wynn, are often thought of as one Las Vegas resort, which is a generally correct idea. One of the differences between the two is that Encore is an all-suites property, so while both resorts offer guests award-winning accommodations, one of Encore's elegantly appointed suites is a step above. Exclusive shops, acclaimed restaurants and shows and a stylish, modern décor invite you to stay and escape from the outside world.

This luxury resort and casino located on the Las Vegas Strip is Wynn Resorts’ flagship property. It includes one of the widest variety of table games and slots going, poolside gaming, a state-of-the-art sportsbook, luxurious high-limit salons and Las Vegas’s preeminent poker room. At Wynn Las Vegas you can choose from more than 1,800 slot machines, including new and upcoming games as well as classics, with games in denominations up to $1,000 per play.

This hotel was the idea of Steve Wynn, the billionaire developer who is behind the other impressive structures in Las Vegas. To build this luxury hotel, the tycoon sold the Bellagio and the Mirage (which he had also built) and bought the historic Desert Inn. He demolished it and rebuilt the Wynn, a new version of the Bellagio reinvented for a more fashionable clientele, replacing European elegance with a more modern design with Asian influences.

Receive a customized spa treatment tailored to your body at the spa located in the Wynn hotel. The maternity massages offered focus on the unique needs of pregnancy with specific, full body techniques and specialized body pillows to create a comforting experience for mom and baby. There is even a salon on site to truly pamper yourself with a head to toe makeover so you can look your best while relaxing and nurturing your growing baby.

There’s a certain spark of curiosity and anticipation that arises when one hears about a strict, no photo policy in any dining establishment. This rule can come off as a bit pretentious or intimidating, but that’s certainly not the case at Delilah, a modern-day supper club located at the exclusive Tower Suites enclave in Wynn Las Vegas. As soon as you step into the space, you’re greeted with a seemingly flawless symphony of service.

Another luxe, five-star option, The Spa at Wynn has had a makeover and is now a feast for the eyes as well as a tranquil retreat from the hustle and bustle. Handily located within Wynn Las Vegas, you can head straight here following a day or night at the roulette wheel. Designed to evoke the ‘serenity of nightfall’, the gorgeous decor features dark purples, blues, candles, cozy fires, koi carp and Japanese cherry blossom.

Though this hotel is centrally located in the hustle and bustle of Las Vegas, it establishes a feeling of peaceful seclusion with gorgeous greenery and plenty of natural lighting throughout. Its rooms are large – more than 600-square-feet – and offer guests deep soaking tubs and floor to ceiling windows with views of the mountains or the city – you pick. Guests in the Tower Suites enjoy a separate pool and lanai.

Encore at Wynn Las Vegas invites you to “pay tribute to Frank [Sinatra] with sophisticated riffs on classic Italian cooking” at their award-winning restaurant, Sinatra. I love Italian food, and Sinatra is one of the best places to find it in Las Vegas. Pair your meal with a delicious cocktail (I recommend the Danny Ocean, with Hendrick’s Gin) or glass of wine, enjoy the swing tunes and the upscale surroundings.

Not to mention the iconic artwork that fills The Wynn or the wild kid-friendly carnival that is Circus Circus. As you make your way down the LVB, stop at The High Roller located at The LINQ Promenade. This observation wheel is the largest in the world so chances are you won’t have trouble finding it. The High Roller’s pods have some of the best views in the city - and did we mention there’s an open bar?

Wynn set a new standard for elegance when it opened in 2005, with its big, open spaces; skylit esplanades; and spaces that seem constantly in bloom. The environment is so gorgeous, even those who normally start feeling claustrophobic on a gaming floor won’t. The casino floor itself is a large-but-walkable 116,187 square feet, with an elegant poker rooms that holds daily tournaments and high-limit games.

Wynn Las Vegas and its sister property, Encore, beckon luxury travelers with a signature curved design that holds a plethora of dining, nightlife and entertainment options. Book a room with unparalleled Strip views, and head to Encore Beach Club for one of the wildest pool parties in Sin City. If you’re looking for a show, Le Rêve is a mesmerizing, water-centric performance that rivals Cirque du Soleil.

Unlike most Las Vegas resorts, the upscale Wynn has a reserved presence on the Strip without sidewalk attractions. When it was completed in 2005 it was the tallest hotel building in Las Vegas, and is still in the top eight largest hotels in the world. Many of the amenities at Wynn Las Vegas are the best in town, like the buffet, which has 15 live-action cooking stations, or the blissful Spa at Wynn.

Rumored to be the most expensive club ever built, the XS Nightclub at Wynn is a lavishly-decorated space that includes everything from glass chandeliers and golden couches to poolside patios with bikini-clad girls hopping in and out of the water. It’s basically a playground for adults with all of the shameless splendor that you’d expect from Las Vegas. The bar offers drink and bottle services.

Lake of Dreams is a performance that takes place at one of the swankiest clubs in Sin City. The multimedia production, which employs cutting-edge technology, combines puppetry with captivating music and stunning visual effects to create an amazing experience. Purchasing dinner and entertainment tickets to Lake of Dreams on a Friday or Saturday night might be a really romantic experience.

Lake Of Dreams at Wynn is a visual experience that combines colorful puppetry with exciting soundtracks and sound-lighting shows to make a mesmerizing spectacle. The production utilizes a waterfall and lake structure in combination with a ½ acre screen that is lit by 4,000 LEDs. You can get to see this beautiful spectacle from Parasol Down Lounges, Parasol Up, or on the lake patio.

This megaresort is once again the top pick of T+L readers, who gave it an even higher score this year than in 2020. A few keys to its success seem to be its enviable mid-Strip location, its many impressive restaurants and bars, and its immaculate guest rooms. "It's a top-tier hotel across the board," said one voter, whose sentiments were echoed by numerous fans of the property.

The 2,000-plus-room luxury casino is a place with enormous rooms (you could host a small party in the bathroom), classy restaurants, and one of the best pool parties on the Strip. Encore Beach Club is open Friday through Sunday, several months a year. The poolside club is a whopping 60,000 square feet, and contains three tiered pools, cabanas, bungalows, and a gaming pavilion.

La Cave may not be a secret spot on the Las Vegas Strip, but its presence for over the decade has earned it a legendary reputation as one of the best restaurants inside Wynn Las Vegas. Enjoy one of the four picturesque dining areas with a glass of wine, craft beer or a small plate curated from chef Billy DeMarco. Guests with a plant-based preference can also rejoice.

If you are looking for one of the best Las Vegas Instagram spots that also has a super romantic vibe, then head on over to the atrium at the Wynn. Here, you will find a beautiful walkway adorned with some incredible floral displays. There are some colorful lanterns and string lights that illuminate the scene here, which is what creates that romantic vibe.

Although the Wynn is located in the heart of the Strip, this location offers families a quieter option. The Tower Suites have larger-sized suites that can accommodate a family of five. The giant pool is surrounded by gardens, has lots of shaded areas to keep the kids out of the sun, and there are plenty of food and shopping options to keep everyone happy.

Wynn Las Vegas is a luxurious 5-star resort that offers serene stylish rooms, world-class entertainment, fine dining, and exciting nightlife experiences. The Spa at Wynn is the first spa in Las Vegas to receive a Forbes Five-Star Award. The spa features a contemporary design and serene color palette inspired by nightfall to help relax the mind and body.

$$$$+ | 5 Star | Best Beach Club | High-Roller Heaven | Exclusive Amenities. High rollers and whales love the ENCORE at Wynn resort and casino where no expense is spared. Combined with its parent property, Wynn Las Vegas, you’ll find 40 designer shops, incredibly fresh fine dining, one of the hottest beach clubs in the city, and an oasis golf course.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: Wynn and Encore are great places to take a vegetarian in Vegas. Their vegan/vegetarian menus are a part of the “regular” menu now too, so you don’t even have to ask for the “special” one. Mizumi had one of the most extensive vegetarian menus I’ve seen in Vegas, from sushi and small plates to full entrees.

As one of the most vegan-friendly places in Vegas, the Wynn offers delicious plant-based options everywhere you turn. All of its 19 restaurants feature vegan options, and the menus were created by renowned vegan chef Tal Ronnen. Enjoy Vegan Chick’n and Waffles for breakfast at Terrace Pointe Café or Spinach and Kale Ravioli from Jardin for dinner.

The Wynn is home to one of the prettiest lobbies in Las Vegas, making it a top Instagram spot in this destination. As soon as you enter the hotel, you’re greeted with an explosion of color and floral decorations. This whole ambiance is thanks to talented event designer, Preston Bailey, who designed incredible floral installations for the property.

Fresh off a room renovation with a price tag of over $200 million, it's no surprise that Wynn Las Vegas is "the pinnacle of panache for Las Vegas accommodations," as one reader put it. Respondents love the "gorgeous" spa, "stellar service," and excellent restaurants. Wynn prides itself on having its renowned chefs personally prepare the food.

If you’re looking for cocktails, parties, and world class pools, Encore Beach Club is where you need to be. The club’s three tiered pools give off South-of-France vibes and are surrounded by tall, lush palm trees. Soak up the sun on lilypad-shaped seats in the water, luxury cabanas, red daybeds, or even bungalows if you have a big group.

This luxurious resort hotel on the Las Vegas Strip offers modern and luxurious experiences with a full-service spa, oasis style pools and a variety of exclusive brand name shops. Wynn Las Vegas is less than 5 miles from McCarran International Airport. Wynn Las Vegas features a full casino with more than 1,800 slots and 26 poker tables.

We found ourselves walking through a few beautiful hotels like the Wynn, Cosmopolitan, and also checked out the Conservatory & Botanical Gardens at Bellagio. At 7:30pm, we took an uber outside the strip to check out a unique themed bar called The Golden Tiki. They have some really delicious drinks on the menu. It such a great time!

3131 S Las Vegas Blvd Las Vegas, NV 89109 Phone: (702) 770-7000. Since Wynn Las Vegas is one of the top hotels in Las Vegas, it is no surprise they have won the Brides Choice Award three years in a row. The Wynn hotel can provide an exquisite stage for both the bride on a moderate budget, as well as one with an unlimited budget.

The cabanas here are permanent fixtures and come complete with air con and refrigerators. You can also get them with plasma TVs, personal servers and even a pre-programed iPod – for an extra fee, of course. They’re part of an elegant and sleekly landscaped swimming complex that’s known for its exceptional level of service.

The Wynn Plaza Shops may be the most exclusive (and expensive) upscale shopping concourse in Las Vegas. The shops span more than 76,000 square feet and include a Ferrari-Maserati automobile dealership. There are many luxury brands to shop, such as Breitling, Cipriani, Kenzo, James Perse, Rimowa, Omega, and Saint Laurent.

Chef Matsu has created something truly phenomenal at Wazuzu. Both the Wazuzu Roll and Hamachi Chili rise to the top of the list of menu items that rank second to none. Some of their sushi pieces are not cheap but this is some of the best sushi in Vegas and a dining experience that will leave a truly lasting impression.

You can find a lot of similar multicultural meals that are offered at other Vegas buffets, but The Buffet at Wynn is worth stopping to indulge. What separates The Buffet from other eateries is the 16 live cook stations where diners can order fresh, personalized dishes. The ambiance here will take your breath away.

Enjoy complimentary entertainment every night at the Wynn via the Lake of Dreams, a spectacle of lights and sound using the lake’s 20,000 square feet of surface and a 40-foot waterfall to serve as the visual focal point for giant puppets and massive robots – and a 23-foot head that emerges from the water.

Not to be confused with the Wynn itself, the Encore is the Wynn's take on a boutique offering. It also comes with all the benefits of being housed within a parent property. While guests of the Wynn can't use Encore facilities, such as the pool, all those booked at Encore are allowed privileges at both.

The Encore at Wynn Las Vegas is right next to its parent hotel, Wynn Las Vegas. The Encore is a 5-star hotel with luxurious accommodations, spacious suites, and signature restaurants. The rooms offer floor-to-ceiling windows to give you a perfect view of Las Vegas, especially at nighttime.

The Spa at Wynn is not as glamorous as The Spa at Encore next door, but it is comfortable and attractive. Visitors like the fireplace in the locker room area, decorated with a faux marble fresco of a woman getting out of the bath. You could curl up on a sofa by that for a good long while.

This place was made by Steve Wynn as a tribute to his best friend, legend and equal parts colleague as well. Chef Luke is definitely one of the best chefs in Las Vegas. The menu of this place has some of the traditional dishes with a modern touch including pizza, pasta, and others.

Le Rêve offers more subtle sexuality compared to the other best shows in Las Vegas. This show has an age restriction of 5 years and up, though I would not recommend bringing the kids. The show features dancing, swimming, and acrobatic performers who play out a steamy storyline.

The Wynn Las Vegas is a fabulous place for a Vegas vacation. With luxury appointments throughout, you’ll really be able to indulge yourself here. Unique among our selection of great Vegas hotels, the Wynn is the only one that can boast an 18-hone professional golf course.

Located on the lake in front of The Wynn casino, Lakeside is an excellent choice for visitors who want to enjoy a meal while dining overlooking Lake Las Vegas. It’s easy to see why this eatery is one of the most popular places with spectacular views in Las Vegas!

Sure, you could get married at a cheesy chapel with Elvis officiating. But, if you want something really romantic, say your “I do’s” at the Wynn hotel. Whether you want a big, elaborate wedding or an intimate elopement, there’s something here for everyone.

Another five-star Vegas spa, this spa is located in the luxury hotel Wynn Las Vegas. The spa is outfitted with dark purples, blues, candles, cozy fires, koi carp and Japanese cherry blossom. Amenities include a sauna, plunge pools and a sunlit atrium.

An instantly recognisable name has become synonymous with the highest levels of luxury and sophistication on The Strip. It's the hotel that ushered in the new era of elevated standards in Las Vegas, and guests will feel every inch the VIP.

If you’re looking for an upscale taco experience, look no further than Casa Playa at Wynn Las Vegas. Its small menu features some incredible items, including two tacos you must try. Wagyu Carne Asada Tacos.

With a 40-foot waterfall spilling off of an artificial mountain covered in pine trees which is lit up by 4,000 lights set to music after dark complete with holographics, singing frogs, and dancing flowers.

Review: No wonder that the Spa at Wynn was granted Forbes Five Star award. It really is offers some of the most luxurious Las Vegas spa services. Everything is impeccably clean and organized.

Remember to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏᴍ when booking any resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and normally will have rates much cheaper than others! You're welcome :)! This hotel is one of the best in this area. I have been coming here for a very long time. If you stay for a few nights you definitely will love it I'm sure! Wow! Still such an excellent looking hotel and beautiful casino. Recently a friend and I decided to walk the entire strip. We checked our all the hotels and casinos. This was in our top 5. We didn't stay here, but did enjoy the layout, lobby, grounds, buffet, and more. Excellent! Really well kept.

Wonderful hotel. Very large room with king bed. Restaurant options are good. The Delilah is one of the coolest looking restaurants I have seen in awhile with a great cocktail selection. Tables games are a bit above my level of gambling, but that was to be expected. Overall feeling of the hotel/casino is fantastic. Wonderfully lit with natural light during the day and still maintains a bright/cheery ambiance into the night. Well worth the price to stay there in my opinion

We stay at The Wynn multiple times a year. Always a superb experience. A cut above. From the moment you enter, the service level is top notch. We had a spectacular, nearly 3 hour dinner for six at SW Steakhouse and multiple casual meals at Charlie's next to the sports book. The food and atmosphere are our favorite on the strip. We'll be back....soon!
