I haven't ever seen a right triangle that has 3 altitudes.

In a right triangle, the legs are 2 altitudes and the third is the altitude with the hypotenuse.

Good and correct answer a right angle triangle has 3 altitudes in it 2 altitudes are its two legs and one which is drawn to the hypotenuse.

As Far as My knowledge is concerned there are three altitudes in a right angled triangle two are its leg and the last one is drawn to its hypotenuse.

What are the 3 altitudes of a triangle?

Answer: Three An altitude of a triangle is a line segment that starts from the vertex and meets the opposite side at right angles. A triangle has three altitudes- one end is at the vertex and the other on the opposite side. An altitude is also known as the height of the triangle.

Can a right triangle have 3 altitudes?

Altitude(s) of a Triangle. An altitude of a triangle is a segment from a vertex of the triangle, perpendicular to the side opposite that vertex of the triangle. Since all triangles have three vertices and three opposite sides, all triangles have three altitudes.

What are the altitudes of a right triangle?

Altitude of a Right Triangle The altitude of a right-angled triangle divides the existing triangle into two similar triangles. According to the right triangle altitude theorem, the altitude on the hypotenuse is equal to the geometric mean of line segments formed by altitude on the hypotenuse.

What are the 3 types of sides in a right triangle?

In a right triangle, the hypotenuse is the longest side, an "opposite" side is the one across from a given angle, and an "adjacent" side is next to a given angle. We use special words to describe the sides of right triangles.
