When you apply an Amazon.com.au Gift Card to an order or add one to Your Account for future purchases, we store the available balance so you can view it at any time.

If you want to know when and why your gift card balance changed, please check your statement for relevant details.

To view your Amazon.com.au Gift Card balance:

Go to Your Account.
Select Gift cards and view the balance on any of your Amazon.com.au Gift Cards.

Note:

Some physical gift cards bought from Amazon.com.au don't come with values printed on them. In this case, you can view the value by going to Your Orders. In Your Orders, find the gift card order, and compare the 16-digit serial number (located beside the gift card amount) in the order details to the serial number on the back of the gift card.
You can review all changes to your balance in the transaction section of your Balance Page, including order IDs or serial numbers.
Your Gift Card balance doesn’t include possible promotional certificates added to your account.
Please review the Amazon Gift Card Terms and Conditions to make sure that your item is eligible, when your balance is not provided as payment method during checkout.

Can I redeem my Amazon gift card balance for cash?

With your Amazon gift card money, you can not buy other Amazon gift cards, but you can buy select third-party gift cards for other stores. The funds from the gift card can not be transferred to other Amazon accounts or exchanged for cash.

Where can I use Amazon gift card balance?

Redemption: Gift Cards may only be redeemed toward the purchase of eligible products on www.amazon.in and any other third party merchants that are enabled to accept the Gift Cards. Purchases are deducted from the redeemer's Gift Card balance.
