i have tickets to see the trans-siberian orchestra tonight. i've never been to one of their concerts before and i dont know what the atmosphere is. is this something you dress up for or just wear regular clothes? Less is more "thanks, abba. now i'll forever have an image of you as a tattoed hardcore straightedge grrl savaging people in the mosh pit." - papalovesmambo "Yeah Abba. All the filthy crap you spew out there on those boards. I for one, am equally shocked. :-P" - AnnaK bunnywings Broadway Star Broadway Star | Joined: 12/11/05 Regular clothes are fine. You may want to bring earplugs, as they are very loud. I've seen them twice. I think they're awesome and they put on a spectacular light show. Have fun and enjoy the concert! :) Humankind. Be Both.
PB ENT. Broadway Legend Broadway Legend | Joined: 6/11/03 The TSO is a wild experience and a creatively beautiful show. I caught them last month at the Show Me Center in Cape G. Missouri. Yes, bring your earplugs! They have 2 touring companies (Robert Evan (J&H) toured with the East Coast TSO tour a few years ago and Michael Lanning (Civil War) was with the West Coast). Here's their website http://www.trans-siberian.com. Catch them if you can! And ENJOY! www.pbentertainmentinc.com BWW regional writer "Philadelphia/South Jersey" Updated On: 12/26/06 at 03:58 PM harris007 Broadway Legend Broadway Legend | Joined: 8/25/04 wear whatever abba, think of it as a rock concert Attend the tale of Bovine Boy His party threads we all enjoy But does he have Mad Cow Disease? An orchestra (kinda) I’m thinking we dress up, is it too dressy to wear a red floor length dress and a suit for my fiance? Or since it’s not really a full out orchestra dress it down a little bit? 6 Answers
What is the dress code for orchestra? There is no official dress code, but you'll see guests wearing everything from jeans to cocktail dresses. Most guests opt for business attire or business casual. Some people enjoy dressing up and making a special night of it, others prefer to dress more laid back. Generally, the only tuxes you'll see are on stage.
