Regular clothes are fine. You may want to bring earplugs, as they are very loud. I've seen them twice. I think they're awesome and they put on a spectacular light show. Have fun and enjoy the concert! :)

The TSO is a wild experience and a creatively beautiful show. I caught them last month at the Show Me Center in Cape G. Missouri. Yes, bring your earplugs!

They have 2 touring companies (Robert Evan (J&H) toured with the East Coast TSO tour a few years ago and Michael Lanning (Civil War) was with the West Coast). Here's their website http://www.trans-siberian.com. Catch them if you can! And ENJOY!

I have pretty decent seats, but not SUPER close seats… I know it’s:

A. A Concert

B. An orchestra (kinda)

I’m thinking we dress up, is it too dressy to wear a red floor length dress and a suit for my fiance? Or since it’s not really a full out orchestra dress it down a little bit?

  • I went to last year’s Christmas concert, and they were amazing.

Yeah, there’s lots of loud music and flashing lights, so it has more of a rock theme to it. Suit and tie is too dressy. You could wear maybe a skirt from Express with some black boots or something. You want to look nice, but not opera nice.

    Have fun!

  • I saw them in Hartford a few weeks ago and I didn’t really see anyone dressed like the other answerer described. There were people dressed casually and there were men who were wearing a nice button-up shirt and nice pants and women that wore a nice blouse and pants. I guess it may depend on where you’re sitting like she said but I wouldn’t know, I never got special seats or anything. Honestly, I wore a jeans and a t-shirt and so did hundreds of other people I saw. Anyway, I hope you enjoy the show and have an amazing time!

  • We went last year, my daughter and I, and I wore a nice sweater and a nice pair of jeans. We saw people in all sorts of dress. And they served beer at our concert. So it’s not posh or anything. It is an INCREDIBLE show, so I hope you are not on the floor, somewhat elevated so you can see everything. Cryo, pyro, the violinist goes up into the air on a platform… you will be blown away. I’m going on Dec 22, can’t wait!

  • It’s a rock orchestra, don’t get too dressy.

Have you ever heard them? It’s not something you’d dress like your going to prom for, it’s like a rock band.

  • it is a pure rock concert just go normal it dressing up is for like a opera but it is a rock concert

Source(s): i have been to one

  • Showing class is never a bad thing.

There is no official dress code, but you'll see guests wearing everything from jeans to cocktail dresses. Most guests opt for business attire or business casual. Some people enjoy dressing up and making a special night of it, others prefer to dress more laid back. Generally, the only tuxes you'll see are on stage.
