Can I just ask what this icon means.. Show
Currently I am trying to charge an Apple Series 1 Watch which has a dead battery. Its attached to my charge and has been for quite a long time. And this icon just keeps flashing up. Does this mean it is charging or not charging? Cannot reset as have no power on watch! Thanks. Apple Watch, Series 1 Posted on May 8, 2017 5:55 PM Hi The symbol of a charging cable and green lightning bolt appears when your watch battery has a low charge level and is charging. It is normal for this symbol to be shown initially when the watch is placed on the charger and for the screen to sleep shortly afterwards, whilst charging continues (but it should not blink). Try charging your watch again for at least 2.5 hours - and, if the issue persists, for significantly longer. When doing so, check that: All plastic wrap has been removed from both ends and both sides of the charging cable (check closely on the head of the charger).
Afterwards, if your watch has not already started automatically, remove it from the charger and:

How do I get rid of the green snake of death on my Apple Watch? The solution: Leave the watch alone until the battery dies completely. That is, until nothing happens when you press the side button — no red snake, no green snake, just a black screen. It might take a day or two.
Why is my Apple Watch plugged in but not charging? The most common reason people find their Apple Watch won't charge is an obstruction preventing the charger from connecting with the watch. It's also possible there is a software issue, and once that's cleared out, the watch will begin charging again.
Does the lightning bolt mean it's charging? You'll know your iPhone is charging when you see the lightning bolt located next to the battery icon in the status bar. If your screen is locked, you'll see a large battery icon appear on the screen. NOTE: Just a reminder that your phone has a non-removable lithium ion battery, so don't attempt to remove it.
