What does ncat mean in Madden 22?

The acronym “ncat” in Madden 22 simply stands for Non-Collectible/Actionable/Tradeable. It simply means that the cards are not collectible, actionable, or even tradeable. Likewise, these are the cards in the game that do not go into sets. This is unlike the NAT card which can go into sets. Therefore, players who have NCAT cards can only keep them without the ability to place them into sets. @jholmes296 as @slapstick22 correctly mentioned, your item is unfortunately NCAT (non-auctionable nor tradable nor changeble, i.e. not eligible for any sets). You can see it in the bottom left corner of the item as shown in the screenshot too.

Unfortunately, the MUT team decided to introduce the NCAT concept this year (before it was only NAT (non-auctionable nor tradable). From my perspective, that is one of the worst decision affecting the fun of playing MUT. It completely contradicts the idea of tinkering around with your lineup while improving the lineup playing games, collecting items and completing sets (at least from my perspective). It is obvious that this concept intends to force players to buy packs if they want to complete sets.
