What happens if you romance Leliana and Morrigan?

Q: Can I romance both Morrigan and Leliana?

Morrigan (a Witch of the Wilds) and Alistair (a young and humorous Grey Warden) are the heterosexual options; Leliana (a Chantry lay-sister with a mysterious past) and Zevran (an assassin of the guild of Antivan Crows) are bisexual romance options. No other companions can be romanced.

Once you get close to maxing out Morrigans approval, she will confess her feelings and trigger a romantic scene in which the two of you sleep together. Once the scene ends, a relationship will be established and you have now romanced a Witch of the Wilds.

I've read a few topics on this, and most people are saying that you have to do Leliana's personal quest in order to have the option to re-start a romance with her after you've ended it.

Basically, I already did her personal quest, but still haven't spoken to her about it. Morrigan confronted me about Leliana, and I confirmed to Morrigan that I was with Leliana. So, Morrigan will talk about love in camp, but she won't give me her ring (which is what I want to get). After I break up with Lelaina, Morrigan does give me her ring.

I did Leliana's personal quest, but haven't spoken to her about it yet. I think she starts with "Do you remember our conversation from earlier", so I'm forced to talk about it before breaking up with her (which sucks).

So - Does anyone know if it's possible to re-start a romance with Leliana but using the Feastday Pranks/Gifts to get her approval down really low and then work back up to romance again? Or do you HAVE to do her quest?

From what I understand, once you end a romance you can't restart it later. I could be wrong, but from what I've heard and seen personally, once you end a romance its done.

I have also heard that giving Morrigan the golden mirror gift (which I have NOT yet done) can also re-start a romance with her. I dont think i ever actually was in a romance with Morrigan, but she definitely confronted me about Leliana. So maybe that will do the trick...

And to clarify - I have a save file before breaking up with Leliana, but Morrigan has already confronted me about Leliana (and I confirmed to Morrigan that I was with Leliana).

I think I figured it out and answered my own question.

Everywhere I've searched says that giving Morrigan the Golden Mirror (if you say something to the effect of "it' for a beautiful woman") will re-start her romance. Since I have yet to speak to Leliana about the outcome of her personal quest, she still has those dialogue options available. So, I think I should be able to avoid her confronting me about Morrigan (I think). Maybe it will just come down to me not speaking to Leliana for the rest of the game lol. or maybe I'll just give Morrigan the Golden Mirror later.

Leliana's romance cannot be restarted if ended. She gives you 1 shot.

If you were trying for the love triangle, then here's what you do:

Start with Morrigan, sleep with her, do NOT complete her personal quest yet. After successfully bedding with Morrigan, begin working on Leliana. Complete Leliana's PQ, talk with her some more until you get the jealousy speech (which ever comes first here, I believe). Pick Leliana over Morrigan. Give Morrigan the golden mirror to restart the romance with her. She will give you a jealousy speech, pick Morrigan over Leliana. Morrigan assumes you will simply end things with Leliana but you are not forced to do so. The jealousy speech is programed to only happen once between these two.

I tend to avoid this because I had a weird bug happen to where whenever I would simply just talk to either of them, the other would take a hit of -5 to their approval.

Try the dialog where you ask her if she is over Marjoliane. There is a romance option in there that might work.

Yeah I'm going to try a few things tonight. If all else fails, I still haven't given Morrigan the mirror yet. So what I may just do is save the mirror for later, and right before the end of the game, just give it to her to re-start a romance (but never break up with Leliana). I still haven't had the jealousy dialogue with Leliana yet, so I have to be careful with that.

I just hope I can break up with Leliana before I get the jealousy dialogue. Because what I'd like to do is this:

1. Break up with Leliana
2. Re-start romance with Morrigan (I was able to get the ring/have sex with her after breaking up with Leliana, but without giving her the mirror).
3. Talk to Leliana about Marjolaine, re-start romance
4. Get jealousy dialogue from Leliana, end it with Morrigan to keep Leliana happy
5. Give mirrior to Morrigan to restart romance

I've just heard that other dialogue options override the jealousy dialogue speech, so I'm not sure if this path is a possibility for me. But I will try!

I have no idea about any of this. I never do the two timing thing. I just stick to one person, but I am real dull.
