When you don your VR headset and explore the sunken ruins of New Orleans in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, you might find yourself faced with some difficult scenarios. And by "difficult scenarios," we mean zombies. Lots, and lots, of zombies. That's why it's great there's also a hefty selection of weapons to wield against the hordes of the living dead. Some of these weapons are extravagantly powerful and difficult to obtain, but you don't need to fret. These are the top five weapons in the game. Below, we've outlined how to get them. Laminated Bow The Laminated Bow is one of the best early-game weapons you can get in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. You can make regular arrows for it pretty easily, as long as you have a Level 4 Survival workbench. It's easy to use this weapon to get silent kills from a distance, and you can even wield an arrow from your quiver as a quick melee weapon. How to get: Level your Survival workbench to Level 3, and the recipe unlocks automatically. As an added bonus, you can unlock Explosive Arrows by taking the code 2263 to the safe at the opposite end of the catacombs, near the jazz players. Samedi's HandSamedi's Hand packs one hell of a punch, and you can cut through the hordes of walking dead super easy with just one of these bladed fists. Better yet, you can also dual-wield them for even more carnage. How to get: The recipe for Samedi's Hand is hidden in the safe on the upper floor of the yellow house in Via Carolla. The safe code is 8276. Grass CutterThe Grass Cutter is like Michonne's katana but cooler. This two-handed sword can decapitate zombies with extreme ease, and it tends to be more durable than other weapons. How to get: Level your Gear workbench to Level 8. CleaverHaving a supply of Cleavers on-hand is important for melee combat later on in The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. It's almost impossible to get kills on helmeted walkers without a weapon that can chop off their heads, and the Cleaver can do that and much more. You can also dual-wield your Cleavers for maximum effect. How to get: Level your Gear workbench up to Level 6. Pump-Action ShotgunThe Nova 1014 Pump-Action Shotgun is an exceptionally powerful gun. You can blast your way through humans and walkers alike with this boomstick, and it's also super easy to find more shotgun ammo throughout the campaign. Even better, this gun is more durable than its double-barrel counterpart. level 1
4th and pain is the best single handed weapon you can get in the game imo. But you can’t get the blueprint until you b access to rampart. Which I recommend doing as soon as you can. Second is the cleaver from just leveling the workbench which is easy to do. Side note both of these can decapitate zombies in one swing which costs less stamina then braining. I wasn’t sure anyone would ever use it. level 1 I’ve noticed that katanas are VERY efficient. I stayed for the horde with 2 on me and couldn’t be touched. But they also break kinda fast. But I crafted an esteemed mortal and it hasn’t broke yet. So I think that weapon is pretty durable and almost as efficient as the katana. But that’s all I can think of. Cleaver is fun too. But I haven’t payed close attention to the durability of it level 2 I think maybe I heard somewhere that a katana can withstand 60 stabs or something maybe??? level 1 Tbh you can definitely get through the game with a bunch of shiv’s, but the best is the katana. (I believe it’s called the grass cutter sorry I haven’t played in a couple months) level 1 I would say for me the esteemed mortal is a personal favorite due to how fun I find to use it. The stabby bit on the end is fun to use like a throwing spear but don't use it like that a lot.
