*The unlock code is "NCK" or "Network" code. Except in the special case when you get "Phone Freeze" message you will need "Defreeze" or "MCK" code.

*This way you can check which code you need:

Model : Samsung from 2011 and newer:

1. Insert a non accepted SIM card,

2. Phone will ask to insert code if it doesn't ask for code it means your phone is unlocked.

5. If you have displayed [ON] Subset Lock - you need to use SCK code if provided

6. If you have displayed [ON] SP Lock - you need to use SPCK/PROVIDER Code.

7. If everything is [OFF} it means your phone is unlocked.

6. When KEY INPUT box will show on screen please type the number "1" and press OK

7. The number "1" will appear on screen for some time then it will change to "SERVICE MENU"

8. Click on: [1] UMTS > [1] DEBUGGING SCREEN > [6] Phone Control > [6] Network LOCK

9. You will see 3 options on screen

If A) METHOD is not working go to B) METHOD

B) METHOD

1. Power ON phone with a non accepted SIM card

2. Phone will show: "SIM network unlock PIN" / "Enter Network Lock Control Key"

3. Type the Defreeze code (MCK code) and press Unlock. You will get "unsuccessful message", please move on to next step

4. Type the Network Unlock Code (NCK code) and press Unlock

***If you will see on screen "Network Lock Successful" the phone is unlocked if not please move on to next step

5. If you will see on screen "Unsuccessful" press Dismiss and type: *2767*3855# (it will erase your data)

6. When the phone starts type the Defreeze code (MCK code) when phone asks "SIM network unlock PIN"/"Enter Network Lock Control Key"

7. Press Unlock button and you will get "unsuccessful message", please move on to next step

8. Type the Network Unlock Code (NCK code) and press Unlock

9. You should receive this message: "Network Lock Successful"

If B) METHOD is not working go to C) Method

C) METHOD

1. Make sure your WI-FI is turned off

2. Power ON your phone without a SIM card

3. Type: *7465625*638*# and press DIAL

4. NETWORK LOCK screen will be displayed

5. MCC/MNC - here you need to put the code from your original provider/carrier/network (eg: 310026 is for AT&T)

6. Search your MCC/MNC code from this list: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mobile_Network_Code 

***If your Network/Carrier has more the 1 MCC/MNC you need to try all of them

7. CONTROL KEY - here you enter the UNLOCK code

8. You should get this message: "Lock Successful"

Model : AT&T / Cingular BlackJack 

1. Power ON phone with a non Cingular/AT&T SIM card

2. Wait 30 seconds or more for the SIM LOCK menu will be displayed

3. Enter the unlock code you have from us and press OK

4. If the code is not working an error will appear on screen

5. Press OK and you have to put the codes again (there will be a delay)

6. A success message will appear on screen and the phone should start booting.

8. On the menu that will be displayed go to malloc Fail option and normal service screen will appear after restart

9. Type: *0141# and press call. Personalized will show on screen and the name of the SIM card provider

10. Power OFF the phone then Power ON

11. Go to MENU(left soft key) > Settings > [7] Security > [6] Sim Lock > [1] Disable

12. Enter 00000000 (eight 0)

13. Sim lock disabled message will appear on screen and your phone is unlocked.

TROUBLE SHOOTING:

"Phone Freeze" or "Return for Service" Error instructions:

Your phone will enter in freeze mode if you enter the codes incorrectly too many times which makes your Samsung hardlocked.

To get your phone unlocked you need NCK(network code) and MCK(unfreeze / defreeze code).

MCK(unfreeze / defreeze code) is only available if you buy factory codes, the generic country carrier (network) services only provide NCK(network code).

This is how you enter the code if your Samsung is in "phone freeze" mode:

1. Power ON your phone with a non accepted SIM card

2. Go to dial screen and enter the MCK(unfreeze / defreeze code)

3. You won't see the digits that you type

4. Press enter/OK

5. The phone should ask for the NCK(network code) now.

6. Enter the 8 DIGIT NCK and press enter/OK

7. If nothing happens when you insert NCK code you need to type it like this: #7465625*638*NCK#

8. If phone does not accept code try like this: #7465625*638*MCK#

OR

1. Power ON your phone with the original SIM card

"Code Error" or "Service Provider Unlock Unsuccessful" or "Network Unlock Unsuccessful" Instructions:

**Turn off: Airplane mode / WI-FI if your Samsung is an Android device.

**Make sure that you check your IMEI using this code: *#06# if you make request with wrong imei the codes will work for the IMEI you requested.

**If you rooted your phone using a custom ROM the codes won't work, you need to return to the original ROM and then try again.

**If your phone is rooted and/or using a custom ROM, please return your phone to stock original ROM. You are responsible for modifications to your phone, and rooted/custom ROM devices are known not to accept the codes initially. Once returned to stock original ROM, you may try the codes again.
