We all saw that Sandra Bullock could dance on her movie, “The Proposal”, but did you know she can rap too? Well, she can!

Bullock performed part of the 1979 hip hop song, “Rapper’s Delight” by The Sugarhill Gang, when she appeared on “The Jonathan Ross Show”, the U.K. talk show, on October 12. The 49-year-old explained that she learned the lyrics to the song to impress a boy she liked in high school.

“I learned the words because I liked this guy in high school, and I was like, ‘Next time I go to that dance, I’m going to know every word, and I’ll make sure he sees me lip-syncing it, and I’m going to catch his eye, and I’m gonna say the words, and he’s going to like me.’ ” Bullock said. “And sadly, it worked.”

Apparently there was a lot of singing on the set of her newest movie “Gravity” also. She admitted she and George Clooney often rapped together during their down time on set.

Does Sandra Bullock sing?

Though her mother was an opera singer(!), she can't sing. Bullock told Wired that although her father was a voice teacher and her mother was an opera singer, she unfortunately doesn't have their pipes. “They say it skips a generation,” Bullock joked. “My daughter can sing beautifully.”
