Filming of "The Highwaymen" began in February in south Louisiana and moved to northwest Louisiana earlier this month.

"The Highwaymen" is scheduled for release later this year. It was written by John Fusco, Scott Frank and John Lee Hancock. It's directed by Hancock and produced by Casey Silver Productions. 

The cast also includes Academy Award winner Kathy Bates, John Carroll Lynch, Kim Dickens, Thomas Mann and William Sadler.
