Where is the AUX port in Ford Focus 2007?

Hey there, 2007 ZX3 SES owner here. Aux button on the head unit, had no Aux input in the car. It seems that Ford possibly added them mid production run, as I hear that some 2007's do have them, my car was an early model of the production year and does not have one. I recently replaced the head unit entirely with a new Pioneer system, the bluetooth and USB is too useful to pass up.

Just bought this car, and there is a button that says AUX, but I seriously cannot find the port. If there is a button, it has to be somewhere, right?
Are they hidden somewhere and I'm just missing it?

The dealer I got it from had no idea why the button was there if there was nowhere to plug something in.

Any help would be appreciated!

its for the SIRIUS radio. IF your Focus has it. my '10 Focus has a chart of different Ford radio designs and it shows which button to press to go into the SIRIUS radio. on mine i have a button that literally says SIRIUS then AUX next to it for the USB stuff.

Moved to Car Audio and Electronics.

IIRC, the aux inputs are RCA and on the back of the radio. Not very convenient, but it's there. The owner's manual should have information about the AUX in it.

This, I researched it when i first got my car. I was really hoping I could just connect to the back of the headunit and get an easy AUX input. Totally not worth it for the stock head unit.

Better off using that 100 and buying an aftermarket head unit

No, you would just need an RCA adapter for iPod or whatever you're wanting to plug in there.

That adapter replaces the external CD changer for an AUX input...

This

should work for an iPod.

This place has pretty much anything you need to hook an Ipod or SiriusXM up to your stock radio if you don't want to go aftermarket .

62 something?!

Ugh. I have a stereo in my older focus that I bought from Walmart. It's held together by tape...it looks so bad, but I might just put that in, and save $62, haha

I looked for this in my 07 ZX3 which had the Sony Audiophile sound system. No one could tell me where the aux jack was so I gave up. Nothing in the manual and the dealer was clueless. Never used it at all.

There are no RCA inputs on the back of stock head unit. If you don't have the audiophile head unit, it's better to replace the head unit. Many more features. You can get a Pioneer double DIN, with kit for $129 on Crutchfeild. Bluetooth, AUX in, USB in, etc.

Hello. I just bought my 2007 Ford Focus. There is NO aux input. That is a huge fluke in making a radio eye roll. I have bought a bluethooth adapter that goes in the cigarette lighter but have not tested it yet. Sorry about the disappointment but I did take the radio out as well and there was nothing. Google said to use an RCA adapter but I dont know how that would work. Hope this helps bc I want my music from my phone bumping while im pulling into school.

If the vehicle is equipped with an aux jack, it would be located in the center console bin, on the bottom towards the front. Later models have the jack located just in front of the shifter on the lower dash below the climate controls.
