One of the best movies I have ever seen

I loved this movie. I have read this book many times to my students each year and never failed to cry. I always warned them before I started reading it that I would cry. We all would cry together. Such a wonderful story about a boy and his dogs.

Great family movie

If you haven't seen this movie yet. You don't know what your missing. My boys were really young when they first saw it. This is a wholesome family movie . I would give it 10 stars if it was an option.

Good Classic Film

Verified purchase

I have recently purchased a copy of this Film so I could sit down sometime and watch it with My Daughter. I have seen this Film when I was a Child and I always thought that it would be a Great Family Style of Movie. It's actually a decent Film and has a good story line behind it. It's even really Sad at Certain Points of the Film. Then I've also always been a Dog Person myself and have had a Dog of my own for as long as I can Remember. So I agree with the Father in this Film when He says that Every Boy should have a Dog.

this story about a boy and his two dogs is truer than most films out on the market today

if holly wood created films of this nature today, maybe just maybe they could bring back some he glamor of what a true film is all about for the viewing public- the trash films of today are not even worth the time to even think of watching -- hollow wood of today is truly a disgusting place with the people who are in that profession - this is why a large percentage of society have turned their backs on hollow wood -

This book is extremely sad, and if you like happy ending with pets, don't even pick this up. This book is even sadder than Old Yeller.
