There is no equal sign so we can still simplify it. It would be one of the easiest things to do. So I'm going to do that first. I will take a negative five. I'm going to put it in my parentheses. I'm going to add up the pieces inside of this binomial. I'm going to do a negative five times. That will be a negative five. Negative five times is positive 25. We just bring the K with us. There is no other K being added to it. I'm going to put the four into parentheses. I could either count it as a negative four or I could just distribute the positive for it, which is what I'm going to do. Then subtract everything. I'm going to do it in a single step. I'm going to divide by four. Positive four times two is negative eight. Negative four times positive five is negative 20 or minus 20 if you tag along with the K. The last thing that we can do is combine terms. The like terms have the same variable to the same exponents. I have a positive 25 K. I have 25 of them and have to take eight. I'm going to have 25 minus eight. I have a minus five and a minus 20. I always put the sign in front, minus five, minus 20 and minus 25. Your expression is in simplified form.
