This is a fabulous freezer. I am so happy I have it! My recommendation is to buy as large of one as you can fit in your spot, because they are easy to fill! You will want more freezer space! A chest freezer of the same size should have more space. (Wire baskets make chest freezers easier to use!) Look at the interior...see the slits on the center tube? The cold air comes out from them, and they are to be left exposed. You have to plan around that. Look at the bottom shelf. It is less deep than the other shelves, thanks to the compressor. You may want to buy another thin shelf, and another deep shelf to make the most of the shelving options. Maytag sells them, and you need to call to order them. They are not online at this time. There is clearly support for a drawer, however one was not made for it. :'(
