The news is everywhere and Shaq is excited about his love life. He is back in his dating life and everyone was interested to know about the mystery woman. Well, it is no one other than Annette “Annie” Ngozi Ilozneh who is a famous Nigerian American actress born on 23rd August 1983. She had grown up in the gorgeous Grapevine, Texas where she went to the Colleyville Heritage High School located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area.

Annie started her acting career in 2007 with her small cameo in the TV series “How I Met Your Mother”. She was popularly known for her character Becky who played the female gym rat. After that, she became a famous face and then made her first big break in the movie “He’s Just Not That Into You” in 2009. Over the period, she got many such roles like that in “Miss March,” “Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief” and more.

There are many other roles that she has done over the period but her career got a major break in 2017 when she was seen as Kidada Jones in the epic drama movie “ All Eyez on Me”. She is now in the TV series “The Lower Bottoms”; interestingly, she even won a basketball scholarship at the prestigious University of Texas.

When Did Shaquille O’Neal and Annie Ilonzeh First Start Dating?

Rumors are there that Shaq and Annie were first spotted from 2009 to 2010 when the star married Shaunie O’Neal. The NBA legend once said, “Being championship team, playing for a championship celebration, you understand teamwork and you learn leadership,” “You’ve got to really have a point protector, appoint somebody to consider the publications. You’ve got to really have a fire guard.”

But after the divorce, the former NBA player was spotted with his celebrity girlfriend, Annie. The couple tried to keep it hush-hush but the media kept following the legend. Shaq was seen with a woman at the Chelsea hotspot Jue Lan Club at 8.30 p.m. They had dinner and Shaq also paid the bill. The sources claim that Shaq claimed that woman to be his “date” and they went on a binge to eat Beijing chicken, signature chicken satay, and also shrimp tempura.

As per the insider, “She did all the ordering.” After the meal was complete, Shaq bought dinner for his entire service team. The insider confirmed, “And to top that off, he paid for everyone’s check [who was] dining at the restaurant.”

So, yes, the couple is dating but much information about his private life isn’t known. In fact, the two are one of the power couples in the industry now.

Why Did Shaq And Shaunie Break Up?

Before marrying Shaunie O’ Neal, Shaq was going out with Arnetta Yarborough. Shaunie and Shaq started dating in 1997 and the former couple was married for nine years. The NBA Hall of Fame has a total of five kids. Shareef O’ Neal, one of his sons, is also a professional college basketball player.

However, Shaq never opened up about his divorce until 19th April, 222. He said, “I was bad. “She was great,” “I did everything. We don’t have to talk about what I was doing, but I wasn’t looking out for her or keeping my promises. When you have two lives, you sometimes get caught. I won’t say that it was her. I did it all.”

It is great that Shaq understood his mistakes and hopefully with his relationship with Annie, he won’t repeat the same.
