Why did they use SBI in Outer Banks?

Are John B. and Sarah really going to go to the Bahamas?

John B. and Sarah managed to survive the major shipwreck that capsized their boat after that crazy storm. While the SBI are planning to go out and look for them to see if they survived, it will be too late as they were saved by a couple of sailors who let them know that they were on their way to Nassau. Although they asked them to drop them off at the next port, there's a good chance that they might stay put and join them on this new ride all the way to the Bahamas to set a new plan in motion.

Will John B. and Sarah come up with a new plan to try to get the gold?

It seems that by the end of the season, things are really looking up for John B. and Sarah as they escaped from the SBI in order to protect John B. from getting arrested. With Ward now in hot water after John B. revealed that he is the person who killed his father, there's a good chance that Ward won't be able to head over to Nassau to cash out the gold that he had sent earlier on the plane. With Sarah and John B. on their way over there, it looks like they might have a second chance to get the gold without Ward standing in their way.

Will they reach out to Kie, JJ, and Pope to let them know they're safe?

After their boat capsized, the SBI and the OBX police let the rest of our favorite Pogues know that it doesn't look like Sarah and John B. survived the storm. With them on their way to Nassau, there might be a chance that they reach out again to try to find a way to come back home after getting the money so they can all live large together like they originally planned.

Will the police realize that John B. is innocent?

Now that Ward's secret is out, that will hopefully point the police in the right direction and have them figure out that it was Rafe who killed Sheriff Peterkin. Even though he might want to come back home after they finally get the money from the gold, if they still believe that he was the one who killed her, it won't be 100 percent safe for him to come back.

Will Pope and Kie get together?

It seems like there was a glimmer of hope for our favorite Pogue couple as they tried to navigate Pope's love for Kie after his big reveal. While Kie said that she didn't want to start a relationship with him because Pogues don't date other Pogues, they might not be able to deny their chemistry at all. So will they start dating? Or will they still follow Pogue code and stay friends?

Will Pope get a second chance at that scholarship?

Pope made the ultimate sacrifice when he walked out of his scholarship interview after figuring out Ward's plan for the gold. With the gold now in the Bahamas and all the money gone, he'll have to find another way to be able to afford college and get out of the OBX. However, his interviewers seemed invested in him when he revealed that he found the Royal Merchant and gold that has been thought to have been a myth for years. Will they give him a second chance?

Will JJ leave his abusive household?

JJ's home life was one of the roughest things to see on the show as we saw his relationship with his father falter due to his alcoholism. Without the gold, it looks like JJ will have to go back to his abusive household and deal with his father again. However, at the end of the season, he seemed to get some comfort from Pope's dad after they were told that John B. and Sarah were missing. Hopefully, this means that he'll get to move in with them and finally leave home.
