I ran mine for a few weeks with distilled water when it started blinking three times and then shutting off. I removed the top and let it soak in a cup of white vinegar for 15-30 minutes. (Be sure that top of unit sits on top of the cup with vinegar.) Rinsed it and put back together…working great! Just needed a little cleaning.

Mine worked for 1 day and I went to refill the water and it blinks 3 times and shuts off! Tried with full tank and it didn't work so I emptied some water out to see if it was too full and it still didn't work!!! Very disappointed because it is so cute and I love the night lights ;(

I read up on this alot. I plugged it into a different outlet and it works fine! I originally had it plugged into an extension cord. Turns out its just like an outlet if its not good it pops that orange light to reset it when you overload the circuit. Ours just blinks blue.

Mine just started doing this last night and I've had it since April. The light flashed 3 times, it shut off and no mist ever came out, but when I picked up the tank, it was working underneath it, no way to stop it except to unplug it. I have sent an email to SolBeauty requesting a replacement, but I may go with a diff one due to all the same complaints on this one

Well I've had mine for approximately 14 days and it started about five days ago, where it would just stop. Given the price point and The fact that I actually really like the humidifier and the size, I am putting in a request to Amazon for a replacement. But I have a very strong feeling that the replacement will end up being sent back as well. It's probably an electrical issue and it's probably consistently throughout all of their product. If everyone is having this exact same problem, then there is some kind of wiring issue. And any kind of wiring issue on a product like this that runs for a great amount of time is a potential fire hazard. So I would highly recommend that you either return or request a replacement. And just in the two minutes it took me to write this review, I did get it to restart it ran and then it shut itself down. So it is definitely getting returned. see less Well I've had mine for approximately 14 days and it started about five days ago, where it would just stop. There is a small ring that drops down to shut off the water. If the oil is sticky on the ring, it will stick to the bottom and the difusser won't come on. Wiggle it loose and it should work - it also may end a cleaning.

I've tried all the solution issues in the manual and can't figure it out myself. Checking to see if there is a return policy because it worked great for 20 days or so. It's very specific with how you clean it, and how often. Make sure you're using the right extension cord.

Mine didnt have enough power going to it. I switch the box plug and it works great now. The light is also stronger too.

Try changing the power adapter to a more powerful one. Mine was like that too until I used my Apple block adapter.

You might need to drain it, clean it real well, then dry it out for a couple of days, and give it another try. I watched a YouTube video on how to fix this problem and it seemed to work. Trying same thing myself today.
