The 2022 anime had all sorts of epic fight scenes, always had hilarious banter between characters, and, our favorite, included an adorable family dynamic that never failed to warm hearts. And, who could forget about the aesthetics of the series? The animation was always on point; the soundtrack is flawless—it wasn’t difficult to tell that this anime had people who genuinely respect and appreciate Tatsuya Endo’s work involved in the creative process. Having said all this, it’s no surprise that millions of anime fans are begging to see Anya, Loid, and Yor on their screens once again. But what are the chances of this happening? Spy x Family season 2 release updatesAt the time of writing, Spy x Family is confirmed to have a second cour on the way, meaning there will be more episodes very soon. Although we don’t have an official release date just yet, fans suspect that fall 2022 is when we can expect the second installment of the anime. Hopefully, their predictions are on the nose. As far as what the second cour will be about, we are certain that fans will get to see more of each character’s respective journeys; Anya will continue to fight to get more Stellas, Yor will continue juggling being a mother to the pink-haired toddler and being an assassin, and Loid will be preoccupied with raising a kid, being a husband, and upholding peace within the country. All this to say, there’s no need to worry about the second cour falling flat as we have much more story where that came from. (The first cour ended just before the Doggy Crisis Arc, meaning we have over thirty chapters left to go.) We know, we know. We miss Spy x Family as much as you do. But never fear, it’ll be back before you know it. Spy x Family talks about a family of three individuals who are nothing like they pretend to be on a daily basis. The father of the family, Loid Forger, is a psychiatrist for the masses, but he is an undercover spy on the side, trying his best to keep the peace between the once-warring nations of Ostania and Westalis. Loid, for his upcoming mission Operation Strix, adopts Anya from an orphanage without knowing that she is a psychic. For this mission, he needed to have a child, who would go to the Eden Academy, where Damian, the son of a powerful politician Donovan Desmond, goes. Through his daughter and Damian, Loid wanted to get in touch with Donovan. To complete the farce, Loid also decides to get married. It is then that Anya and Loid meet with Yor Briar, a straight-laced and gullible clerk. She agrees to this sham of a marriage, thinking Loid needs a mother for his daughter after his wife has died. But she is not what others think of her as well. Yor is actually the infamous assassin called Thorn Princess, who is easily one of the most overpowered characters in this anime. The situation becomes a complicated mess where the father knows nothing about the secrets of his daughter and wife, the mother knows nothing about the secrets of her daughter and husband, but the daughter knows everything due to her mind-reading abilities.
