1. Power off your TV and sound system and unplug them for 2 -3 minutes.

I have tried Roku streaming devices as well as Amazon Firestick devices, both have the lip sync problem with Vizio Smartcast TVs. None of my other Vizio TVs have this problem. On the Smartcast TV, I have to switch from the streaming devices to the smartcast mode, log into a channel, let the channel load and play for about 30-60 seconds. Then change input back to one of the streaming devices; then they work as they should, for a while.

While Vizio has released some versatile technology, its TV options have been frequently reported for audio issues.

Various programs running at one time to cater to your preferences can overload any device. 

Vizio’s processors are powerful, but they aren’t invincible. 

Try these steps:

1. Turn your Vizio TV OFF.

3. Wait a few minutes. (Five to ten minutes is best.)
4. Plug it back into the Power Source.
5. Turn it back ON.
6. Observe different channels.
