The configured static route is not displayed in the display ip routing-table command output on the switch in the following scenarios:

  • If the outbound interface of the static route is specified but the protocol status of the outbound interface is not Up, the static route does not take effect and the routing information is not displayed.
  • If only the next hop address is specified and there is a route to the next hop address on the device, the static route takes effect. If there is no route from the device to the next hop address, the static route does not take effect. The static route is thus not displayed in the routing table.
