A curling team consist of four players (lead, second, third and skip). At the advanced or competitive level, the curling team becomes more than simply a collection of four individuals. Since curling is one of the true team sports (everyone on the team has some responsibility on every shot), a proper "fit" at each position is essential. A game only can be won if all four individuals work as a team.
