No matter what kind of music you like to listen to, Doja Cat is undoubtely a name you've heard of. The rapstress has risen to international stardom for her hit songs including Say So, Need To Know, Kiss Me More and You Right, with few being able to deny that the singer is one-of-a-kind.

As with any celebrity obsession, the conversation quickly turns to dating history. Who have they dated in the past, and who could they potentially start dating in the future? In the case of Doja, she's only had one public relationship so far. The rest is mere speculation, but it won't stop the world from guessing.

Doja has only had one public relationship to date, which was with fellow singer Jacob Sullenger/Johnny Utah/JAWNY. They met in 2019 and shared a fairly public relationship until their reported breakup in February 2020. If you want to hear the meet-cute yourself, you can watch them explain the whole thing one of their Instagram Lives which has now been archived as a Youtube video, but essentially, they played some Instagram ping-pong with comments and likes until they finally started talking.

"I found his music video for 'Honeypie,' and I didn't like the song," she said according to Distractify.

"She hated it. She hates the song. She didn't like the song at all," Johnny continued.

"But I liked the way you moved," Doja said. "I don't know. It was your pants. I was like 'oh, I like your pants. I went to his YouTube video and [then] commented on his Instagram and I was like, 'I love you baby.'"

After that, Johnny turned Instagram notifications on for Doja so that he could be alerted of her next post. His plan was to comment something witty to get her attention.

In the end he wrote, 'Hey girl, I just showed this pic to my little cousin and I told him that we're together. Don't make me look like a liar now. He looks up to me."

After that, the pair started talking and began dating not long after. Unfortunately, the romance turned out to be short-lived, but Doja seemed adamant that nothing sinister had gone on.

In an Instagram Live, Doja addressed the breakup with her fans, saying:

""Everything's fine. I'm okay, I unfollowed my ex-boyfriend on Twitter, and everything is okay. And we've been cool. There's nothing weird going on. There's no type of fking drama or any weird sht going on. Sht just didn't work out. … It just wasn't working at the moment that it is right now, and we just fking moved on."

Doja and French Montana sparked dating rumours in October 2020 when they were spotted together on a boat, but Doja was quick to confirm that it was for business purposes only, not pleasure.

"Me and French got a song coming out. F-ckin relax," she wrote in a Tweet.

The most recent dating rumour involves Doja and fellow female rapper, Bree Runway. At a party hosted by Drake, the two singers were seen getting very cosy, before sharing a bunch of snaps online. The photos themselves aren't much to go on, but the chosen captions had the internet spinning out, with Doja even claiming she had a 'girlfriend' and was 'going public.'

"You know I'm crazy about my WOMANNNN! Love youuuuu @dojacat best night everrrr," Bree captioned a series of photos which saw her and Doja kissing on the cheek, hugging and dancing.

It's very unclear what any of it means and whether the two are just friends or something more, but we'd be very here for it if they decided to take things romantic.

Currently, Doja is either a bona fide expert at keeping her relationships a secret, or she's single. Relationship status aside, there's no denying that she's absolutely killing the game right now and is likely too busy to even entertain the idea of a partner.
