ST. About 15,000 people are expected to gather at Greater Zion Stadium on Monday to ring in America’s 246th birthday with a night of thrilling live entertainment. A limited number of tickets are still available, so don’t miss your chance to join the party.

“Utah Tech is excited to welcome back our community to Greater Zion Stadium for the annual Fourth of July Celebration,” president Richard “Biff” Williams said. “This is the biggest event in Southern Utah, and we love celebrating our nation’s birthday with you in the heart of Trailblazer Nation.”

Gates will open at 6 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to come early in order to find parking and walk to the stadium. All entrances and exits, including wheelchair access, will be located on the east side of the stadium due to ongoing construction. Consider taking a taxi or an Uber to save time.

Every concertgoer, including kids, must have a ticket. Tickets will be scanned at the gate. Click here for a list of what to bring as well as prohibited items. Outside food and drink, except water, are not permitted, but there will be plenty of food options available at the event, including Utah Tech concessions as well as an on-site food truck city.

The hour-long “Tribute to America” patriotic program, presented by United We Pledge, will begin at 7 p.m. The show features music, narration, pageantry and plenty of surprises in celebration of the country’s founding.

United We Pledge is also welcoming special guest Tom Jones, an endurance athlete and Marine Corps veteran who will complete 76 marathons in 76 consecutive days on the Fourth of July. Jones began his journey at The American Village in Montevallo, Alabama, and has run through seven states in a quest to raise patriotism awareness.

“Unity is a little bit hard to find right now,” Canyon Media general manager Ben Lindquist said. “Our hope is to bring people together for just one night to recognize America and what a great country it is.”

Special guest Glenn Beck of “The Glenn Beck Program” will also offer some remarks during the preconcert entertainment.

Lynch will take the stage to electrify the crowd with his Party Mode Tour experience and hits like “Ridin’ Roads,” “Good Girl,” “Momma’s House” and “Thinking ‘Bout You,” a duet with MacKenzie Porter. Since the release of his platinum-selling breakout hit “Cowboys and Angels” in 2012, Lynch has charted eight No. 1 songs, four top-five albums and nine gold and platinum singles. His songs have collectively earned more than 3.3 billion global on-demand streams.

The Tennessee native has headlined packed venues and toured with the country’s biggest names – including Luke Bryan, Florida Georgia Line and Brad Paisley – and earned industry recognition as a Grand Ole Opry member as well as high-profile nominations for the Billboard Music Awards, iHeartRadio Music Awards and CMT Music Awards. His fifth studio album, “Blue in the Sky,” is out now.

“This will be the most-attended single music event in Southern Utah history,” Lindquist said. “We’ve got a bona fide country music star, and we’ve got a commitment from our ownership, our sponsors, the university and the city to be putting on a world-class concert experience.”

Southern Utah’s largest fireworks show, supported by music and narration, will blast off from the DSU Encampment Mall just behind the stadium at 10 p.m. Residents can view the fireworks from almost anywhere in the downtown St. George area, and the show’s accompanying program will be broadcast live on 99.9 KONY Country. People are also welcome to watch the fireworks for free at the DSU Encampment Mall.
